Taehyung.

As I arrived at the building my college was situated in, I still had 30 minutes left before my lecture. I walked to the doors, opening them and stepping inside. Winter break just ended, and it wasn't a fun one for me. I was the son of the pack's alpha, and he used this winter break to teach me things I needed to know, just in case. It was exhausting, I didn't know how my dad could put up with it for years on end.

I looked at the familiar hallways, empty now because no one was dumb enough to be 30 minutes early. I walked through the hallway, to my lecture room and slightly smiled. Here was the place where I could be myself, not Taehyung the next head alpha. I was glad we mingled with humans, they were kinda refreshing not caring about which status you had. Well, how could they, they don't even know we exist. It was a secret kept for eons, and no one was planning on telling soon. It would be too dangerous, humans would think we were furious beasts, longing for blood. Well, they were not completely wrong...

I was sunken into my thoughts, I was suddenly pulled out of it as my inner wolf began to be restless. I looked around for the source of the feeling, but couldn't see or smell one. I concentrated all my senses, half shifting, to check if there was a threat nearby.

Then it hit me. The scent. I closed my eyes again and inhaled deeply. My inner wolf began to howl, longing for more of it. It was sweet, it smelt like vanilla mixed with roses. I had never smelt something so sweet, yet so comforting. Then it hit me like a truck. My inner alpha wasn't just howling, he was howling a word repeatedly.

MATE, MATE, MATE!!

I gulped. I needed to find the source of this scent now. I followed it, almost running. As the scent began to be stronger, I could hear voices. Two male voices. I ran around the corner and came to a stop. So suddenly, that my shoes made a squeaking sound on the floor. I couldn't believe what I saw.

Two boys, maybe two years younger than me. I could smell human, and omega. I closed my eyes, thinking I was hallucinating. As I opened them again, nothing had changed, except that the two boys were now looking at me with curiosity and confusion. Only now I realized, how stupid I must look, running through the building like a maniac and then stopping and staring at them like a psycho, panting because of all the running.

"Dude... Are you okay?" The taller one asked, carefully. I didn't know how to respond, but I needed to find out who is who so I had to make up an excuse. "I, yeah, my class is now held in another room and I was thinking I'm late," I said, only now realizing how dumb that sounds, I was still 20 minutes early and not a single soul was seen. Well, except those two. I began walking to the door beside where they sat, pretending to thoroughly examine the room number. I tried to inhale deeply without being too obvious, and I slowly could make out who was who. The boy who had spoken to me was human, and the other one was an omega, a male omega.

I couldn't help myself and stared at the younger one, only now seeing his beauty. His milky white skin, flawless like the most expensive porcelain, the slightly pink lips, the fluffy raven black hair which almost completely hid his almond eyes. Oh my god. OH MY GOD. I couldn't help but smile. The omega looked at me almost distraught, and I realized I made a clown out of myself the second time that day.

"I- uh sorry..." I looked at him again, waiting for him to recognize his mate. But he didn't budge. I furrowed my eyebrows. Then an idea came to my mind. "Are you freshmen?" I asked. Both simultaneously nodded. But it still made no sense he didn't recognize me, most freshmen were 18 or older. The thing is, you can only find out your mate if you're 18 or older, only then you become a wolf and are not a pup anymore. "Are you 18 by any chance?" I asked. I mentally slapped myself because that just sounded so dumb. The smaller boy looked at me confused, the human one rather shocked.
