Taehyung.

"Mrs. Park?? Dad???" I said, and stood there, shocked. "Oh hey Tae! This is an old friend of mine, Soomin. I heard she's also your literature professor?" He asked. I just nodded, still shook.

"Did she tell you everything?" I said, my expression grim. "I was just about to. You see, after our little conversation at the park, I directly drove here." She said, smiling lightly.

"So you're planning on telling him that you're Jaesangs mate and the luna of the clan of rogues that killed my mate's entire family?" I said through gritted teeth.

My father's expression changed to shocked, and hers to devastated. "I-" she began but I cut her off.

"She is the mate of a psycho, she told me some nonsense about them knowing that Yoongi is here and that there will be an attack after sunset!" I yelled, not able to contain my emotions.

"It isn't nonsense. I know for a fact that they'll be coming." She said. I looked out of the window, due to it being winter the sun slowly set, although it was barely 6 pm.

"I trust her, I think there is a reason behind all of that." My father said and I just shook my head. "You're just blinded by her old self. This could well just be a distraction!" I said, making wild gestures with my hand.

"Well if this is the case, you should tell us now." My dad said, a serious expression now. "It isn't. I promise it isn't. You can chain me somewhere and wait, but I promise this isn't a distraction. You should keep Yoongi safe, and prepare."

"Maybe if we don't let her leave, like at all, even after the fight, she can prove that we can trust her." My dad said, his eyes raging with emotions, but his expression cold.

"Do it." She said and held her hands up. I nodded and quickly grabbed a strong rope from the wardrobe in the hallway. I tied her hands together and grabbed her arm. "Into the cell in the basement?" I asked, not caring that she could purposely let me fail my exams for this.

"No, she didn't threaten us. Put her into the interrogation part of the basement." My dad said and I nodded. I walked down the stairs with her, and among the halls that lead to the room.

"I'm not angry at you for not trusting me, Taehyung." Soomin suddenly said. "It's your duty as future alpha to not trust a wolf from another pack until proven otherwise. You'll be a great alpha." She said, warmth clear in her voice.

I was confused as to why she suddenly acted so nice. "Thanks? I guess. I just hope you didn't lie." I said, pushing her down on the couch. "Promise me, you won't regret trusting me." She said and I just nodded.

I left the room and locked the door, went upstairs and into our living room, only to see the strongest warriors of the pack already assembled.

"I'll go talk to her, we need to know how many of them will be coming. Also, we need to know if they're having a plan. Tae, you go and get your friends ready. You others, warm-up, and be attentive. I want even the smallest change in surroundings or scent to be reported to me in an instant." He said, his pack leader side shining through.

We all nodded and I basically sprinted to our house, busting the door open and dashing into the kitchen. I saw everyone playing UNO in peace, well until they noticed my serious expression and me standing there in general.

"What's wrong?" Seokjin asked and I took a deep breath. "Dad wants us to prepare to fight tonight. We will keep Mrs. Park locked up in our interrogation room, to see if we can trust her. The first order is to keep Yoongi safe at all costs." I said, looking at their serious and worried faces.

"We didn't even train once! How are we supposed to fight a whole pack? It's been ages since there was such tumult!" Jimin asked, panic laced in his voice.

"Don't worry ChimChim, we'll get through this. Together. Jungkook, you stay with Yoongi in our small basement, they'll think he is in the main house." I said, Jungkook nodding but Yoongi looking confused.

"I don't wanna hide, I want to fight! I couldn't fight the last time they attacked my family, but I want to fight if they attack yours!" He almost yelled, looking at me with tears in his eyes.

I shook my head. "I can't lose you. You're the one we have to protect, the reason why all this crazy shit is going down. If you get killed, it was all for nothing." I said, carding my fingers through his hair.

He sighed. "But what if something goes wrong?"
"There won't anything go wrong," Namjoon said firmly.

I took Yoongi's hand and pulled him up, so he's standing beside me. "Let's go to my room for a little," I said, gently pulling him along. Because if that what Soomin said is true, it could be the last night for two of us together, if something happens to either of us.

"Let's cuddle," he said and pulled me down onto my bed, his head resting on my chest. I wrapped my arms around him and buried my nose in his hair, simply enjoying having him close to me.

"I love you" I whispered into his hair and got a quiet "I love you too" mumbled against my chest. "I'm sorry you have to go through all of this because of me," Yoongi said quietly, clearly sad.

"I chose to go through it. If I didn't want to, I could've let you be with the rogues and not rescue you. But I love you, so of course, I'll go through anything for you. My life wasn't exactly boring before you came, but now it's even more exciting. I don't feel like I live from day to day anymore, I feel like my life is worth something. You made me see the light in even the smallest things around and gave me a better perspective on life. I'm thankful that you sat on that exact hallway that day, that you were early, and that your scent magnetized my inner wolf" I concluded, kissing his hair again.

"That's so cheesy. Sounds like we never see each other again" he chuckled quietly into my chest. A sad smile began forming on my lips, I hated thinking about it, but it might happen.

We stayed quiet for a little and just enjoyed the togetherness. I loved feeling his warmth through my clothing, I loved our mixed scent wavering through the air, and I loved how he just gave me his unconditional love, not with words but with gestures.

The peace got shattered as my door flew open and Jungkook and Jimin practically flew into the room.

"She's right, they're here!"
