Deku's POV:

After Todoroki and Kacchan changed,  we went into the well-lit kitchen to eat breakfast. The usually angry Kacchan was sitting calmly and eating eggs with a look of peace on his face. Todoroki ate his breakfast with a grin on his face. I couldn't help but smile brightly, happy that I had finally found my soulmates.

We spent the day together, walking around the city and eating from restaurants. I knew that word would get around fast, so I tried to enjoy the comfort of having my two boyfriends side by side with me, walking around the tranquil street, while I still could.

I knew that Todoroki's father would be furious and try to break us up. I also knew that the paparazzi and news would also get word that three kids from UA had suddenly found out they were soulmates. On top of that, we were the three most popular kids from 1A.  News about relationships-especially between three people-would soon be spreading like wildfire.

As we were walking along the street, a thief came running by, holding a women's purse. Out of instinct, I put my arm out and used One For All to push him over and back onto the street. A surprised Kacchan and Todoroki followed me, trying to capture him. It appeared that he didn't have any quirks.

I sympathized with that, thinking back to my lonely days of no friends and no quirk.

In our pursuit, the thief punched me in the throat, and I stuttered and stepped backward. While trying to catch my breath, I didn't notice the drop behind me and I went falling down the hill, trying to stop myself. I watched as the far ground came closer and closer until I was upon it. I fell headfirst, and my head banged against the concrete. As my vision got blurry, I watched a small red and white dot start frantically running down the hill towards me. Then everything went black.

Bakugo's POV:

After the small-time villain was captured, I congratulated myself on a job well done and looked over my shoulder while saying, "Ha! Who's gonna be number on..." but I stopped when I realized that Deku and Icy-Hot were no longer behind me.

I walked to the edge of the hill and looked down. Deku was lying on the ground, not moving. Todoroki was sitting next to him on his knees, his back to me. My heart dropped. Is Deku okay? I ran down the hill towards them.

As I approached, I realized that Todoroki was crying and holding Deku's hand. He kissed Deku's handprint. The one that he had left there. He turned to look at me, tears brimming his eyes. Although Deku had survived many hard-core villain attacks, he wasn't prepared for this.

"Deku's going to be just fine," I said, trying to comfort both Icy-Hot and myself. Adrenaline was running through me, and the reality of it started to kick in. Was he really going to be okay? I asked myself.

"I'll get help... don't worry. Just... just stay here." I said, running back up the hill.
