Your POV
I was at a lake, were Angela and my mom like to go to tan, jaeden was 10 and I was 9 we were best friends since forever, it turns out that our moms were also best friends since forever so yeah. We were just running and running, just fooling around, suddenly Jaeden tripped? And landed on his back, causing me who was behind him, to trip, I landed on him facing him, he looked at me right in the eyes and gave me a soft peck on the lips, I was shook. Then we both rolled and stood up, jaeden leaned down in one knee at took the first flower he saw and said "do you wanna be my girlfriend y/n" I giggled, took his hand and pulled him up again, "we aren't even allowed to date Jae, maybe when we're older" I said "fine" jaeden said and rolled his eyes, then he gave me a peck on the cheek, of course I wanted to be his girlfriend, I loved him, but still we were just so young.

*present time*
Jaeden's POV
I had to do it, today, I had to tell y/n that I like her, of course I asked m/n for permission and of course she gave it to me, I knew my mom and y/n's mom always had shipped us, I remember that day when we were like 10 I kissed her and asked her to be my girlfriend, that was my first kiss, although she said no, because we were too young. I asked her to meet me at the lake were our moms liked to go, they knew all the plan I had arranged and of course they wouldn't miss it so I agreed on them being there if they were hidden.
I got ready quickly because I was too exercise yet nervous because if she said no our whole friendship would be destroyed. I called my mom from downstairs so that she would come.
Your POV
My mom said she was going out with Angela which I was ok with. Anyway I had to get ready because jaeden invited me to go to the lake our moms always go, I realized it was four and as soon as I saw the time, I rushed into the bathroom, everyday I remembered the day jaeden gave me my first kiss he asked me to date him, but we were to young. He probably doesn't like me anymore, I mean, I'm not like that pretty, and he's just perfect.
I picked a cute but casual outfit I did my hair and my makeup, I liked to keep it simple, not like other girls my age, anyway, I realized it was 4:30 so I called an Uber so that I could get there quickly.
When I got out of the Uber, I saw Jaeden sitting by the lake, holding something in his hand, I walked towards him. "H-hey" jaeden said and hugged me, i corresponded "here" he said and handed me a sunflower which is my favorite flowers (sorry if it's not) "omg thanks Jae" I said and gave him a peck on the cheek, he slightly blushed, but I didn't really noticed. We were just chilling around when he stood up, I stood up too "what is it Jae?" I asked "look y/n, I've been meaning to tell you this since a long time ago, well, the thing is I brought you here to remember what happened like 7 years ago" he said, of course I knew what he meant my first kiss whit him but I wanted to play it cool, although I was freaking out on the inside "w-what do you mean?" I asked "maybe I should refresh your mind" he said and gave me a soft peck on the lips, I didn't know what to do, my best friend aka my crush just kissed me WHAT THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO SAY " y/n I really, really like you, I have liked you ever since I was 10 and that day I really wanted you to say yes, but you said that when we were older you should so" he said while leaning down in one knee as that day, while he looked for a flower, he grabbed the first one he saw and say the words "y/n l/n would you make me the happiest 17 year old and be my girlfriend?" I just nodded, I didn't know that to say. He stood up and kissed me passionately, my hands around his neck and his around my waist, I heard some cheering from my side so I turned and saw my mom and Angela screaming in victory "seriously" I said while giggling just to give him another kiss.
