Six years have passed and seventeen-year-old Jotaro has grown up to be a fine young man. A tall 195 cm (6 ft 5 in), attractive, and muscular man with a strong jawline, bold eyebrows, and his green eyes were captivating. He had grown to be a fine prince of the Kingdome of Stardust and while he proved to be an exceptional fighter and great leader. He had fought countless battles and is known to be the youngest and strongest warrior the kingdom has ever known. And while everyone in the kingdom loved and admired him...Jotaro felt that his life was hallowed and empty. He was missing a very important part of himself.
Ever since King Sadao had the guards remove her from the castle, Jotaro and Hikari have not seen each other as they were forced to be apart. Over the years Jotaro had been very depressed and hasn't really been on speaking terms with his father. King Sadao and Queen Holly had tried almost everything to make their son happy again; the way he was six years ago, but nothing they did had worked.
"Don't you think that was too harsh? They were only children." Queen Holly told her husband. Feeling guilty for not stepping in when it all happened. Of course, she couldn't have known but felt that she should've. "It's for his own good." King Sadao said. "The sooner he realises that the Kingdom of the Moon is not to be trusted, the better."
Jotaro was tired of staying in the, now cold, castle. He was tired and hated being a prince. He left his room and headed out the front door. As soon as he stepped one foot out of the house, there was a deep voice.
"Where are you going, son?"
"Out."
"Out where?"
"Out for a walk! Do I have to tell you everything in my life now?!" Jotaro snarled and stormed out of the castle and made his way into the forest. He walked through the untamed forest until he reached the luna flower tree. He stood there, staring at the tree for the longest time. Remembering all the times he spent with Hikari. He walked to the side of the tree and placed his right hand on the trunk, sliding his hand down the trunk, feeling the rough bark against his skin.
He looked up hoping to see Hikari's gentle face on one of the branches of the tree, but there was nothing. He sighed and sat down underneath the tree where he remembered that time when he was looking for her. He closed his eyes and leaned his head back against the trunk of the tree and thought of all the memories they had together.
He missed Hikari. He missed with every fibre of his being. Ever since they were forced apart, his heart was hardened and closed off. Jotaro would give anything just to be with her again. Just for the chance to see her face and hear her voice. He missed her wavy golden hair. Her beautiful sapphire eyes. Her sweet, elegant voice. After all these years, he could never forget her. He wondered what she looked like now that six years had passed. He tried to picture her in his head but her face was blurred.
He sighed once more and wished that he could be with her. Being seventeen, it was only a matter of time before the kingdom expected him to take a bride. No doubt his father would choose a bride for him. But he didn't want that. There was no way he could ever choose anyone else. For his heart had already been stolen by another. It was getting late, so he decided to return home to his family before they sent out parties to came searching for him. His father never left him alone ever since he found out about Hikari. But his mother did felt guilty about the whole thing and sympathised with him. She was the only other person Jotaro still felt a strong connection with.
When Jotaro arrived back in the castle, his quiet, cold castle, he was approached by his mother. "Jotaro, dear? Your father wishes to speak to you in his study." She tells him. Had it been anyone else, Jotaro would've glared them down and storm back into his room, but seeing that it was his mother, he had no choice but to comply. He walked to his father's study and upon opening the door, found him sitting at his desk, writing.
