Predictability. Presentation. Purity. Nobility. Punctuality. Well-mannered. Be intelligent of all things in life. Clean. One's appearance and status is everything. Gracefulness. Never act or talk out of line. Never be caught dead with a lowly commoner. Always abide by the rules. And finally, always strive for perfection. That is the Royal Family's way of the Kingdom of the Moon.

That was all Princess Hikari has ever known. By the time she was able to speak and take her first step, Hikari has been raised and discipline to behave like a perfect little lady. Raised to be an example for all the other wealthy nobles to view and admire. Everything is set and organized for every single detail of her life. Some rules were made way before she was born. Her parents took every precaution to make sure that she'd always followed their rules...and Hikari memorized every rule in order.

Right now, Hikari was in the library. Reading a fascinating novel of adventure and magic spells, during times like this, she felt more...at peace. She was getting to the best part when her attention was taken by a strange noise outside the manor walls. It was lively. Bright. Active. It was music. The music coming from the small village down below the hill. 'What do you suppose they're doing right now?' She thought to herself. Are they dancing? Playing games? Jumping? Running? Racing? They must be having a lot of fun. When these thoughts came to mind, Hikari's gentle heart grew heavy as she began to think about Jotaro.

It had been six years since she was forced to be apart from her first real friend. And ever since then she had missed him terribly. Praying every night to the moon for the chance to see him just more time, to tell him how much she had missed him and she still views him as a friend. Although, she also prayed that he hasn't forgotten her and feels the same way. "Jotaro..." She softly whispered. A knock came from the door and a maid stepped into the room. She bowed before Hikari and said, "My Lady, it's almost time for your 3 o'clock music lesson."

"Is it? O-oh, thank you." Hikari said. She placed her book down and followed the maid to the music room where, no doubt, her instructor is already waiting for her. The maid pulled out a sheet of paper and began listing off her set plans. "After your lesson, you'll be attending a small tea party at 4 o'clock with your mother and ladies from the opera house. Then at 5 o'clock, you will go to your academic lessons, and finally, at 6 o'clock you will have a meeting with your father before the grand ball tonight." Hikari didn't have to listen to her, as she already knew what to expect since it was the same routine... every day, but she did anyway. The maid was only doing her job.

"Thank you for reminding me. I'll be sure to follow it in order." Hikari told her. They reached the music room and Hikari was about to turn the door handle herself, but the maid quickly reached forward and opened it for her. Once inside, her instructor stood up straight and greeted wholeheartedly. "My Lady. My beautiful, angelic lady. I'm so happy to see you again. Oh, let me get that for you." He said as he pulled out a chair for her. She sat down and asked him, "Thank you. May I ask what we'll be learning today?" Like she had to ask.

"Yes, yes, of course." The man cleared his throat. "Today, we shall be playing one of the most elegant of music; The harp." Hearing that made her happy inside. Both the harp and the piano were her favourite instruments to play. It was another that made her feel at peace...even if it was part of daily routine. She picked up the golden harp beside her and, once again, her attention was diverted to the noise outside. The live music was still playing but this time, she could hear laughter. Hearing their laughter, almost made her smile. But then her instructor made a disgusted grunt and closed the blinds. Blocking her view of the outside. Her 'smile' faded.

"There. Now we won't suffer by hearing such horrid noise those...ugh, commoners are making. It's so nice not to be a part of them, isn't it, my lady?" He said with a smile. Hikari turned her gaze away and softly said, "I supposed."
