Some warnings: Drug use and this might be my longest imagine, but it also might be one of my favorites! Stay safe, lovelies!!

So, you say you're moving out of state

Soon as you graduate, interesting (yeah)
Anyway, you're leaving
Need a hug? Okay then
Call me up, no thanks man (Yeah)

It was a sunny May day in your hometown of Huntington Beach, California, perfect weather for your boyfriend Toddy's graduation party. You watched as he glistened in the sunlight as he spoke with his different relatives and his different classmates. You were only a year below him, but you still wished this was your graduation party as well. Everyone around you smiled and laughed as stories were shared about his senior year. It was a wonderful day until his aunt asked what Toddy's plans were.

"Scott and I are moving to Los Angeles as soon as we graduate, gonna try to make it big." You choked on your drink when you heard Toddy nonchalantly mention. Toddy's mother asked if you were okay, but you replied that you were okay before excusing yourself to the bathroom inside. You stood there for a few minutes, replaying his words again in your mind. He's moving to LA? When did he decide this? You weren't sure how long you had been in there by the time there was finally a knock on the door. Bringing yourself back to reality, you noticed tears had rolled down your face. Quickly you wiped them away before answering the knock with a quick, "one second."

"Babe, are you okay?" You heard Toddy's voice faintly through the door. You opened the door, meeting his concerned eyes with your stone-cold ones. His face turned from a soft one to a confused one as soon as he saw you. Without speaking, you grabbed his arm and pulled him behind you into his bedroom. He sat down on his bed, exhaling due to how exhausted he was having to socialize. You stood by the door, arms crossed, and stared at him.

"When were you planning on telling me? Hm? After you walked across the stage?" You snapped. Todd sat in silence, fiddling with his thumbs.

"I was trying to find the right moment." Was all he could mutter. You scoffed at his excuse. Yes, Los Angeles was only forty minutes from Huntington Beach, but Toddy had said he was going to wait till you graduated to move somewhere else, so that the two of you could start your new life together.

"The right time? Again, when was that going to be? I don't think at your fucking graduation party in front of your entire family was the right time. Especially when you weren't even telling me, you were telling someone else, Todd." Toddy looked at you, with scared eyes. You would only call him Todd when you were angry with him, which was rare.

"Baby, I'm sorry. I know this isn't what we talked about but, Scotty and I are getting big on Vine and I think we have a really good chance at getting famous here. We have to jump on this opportunity as quickly as possible. Why can't you just be happy for me?" You stood in stunned silence. He couldn't possibly think you weren't happy for his success that he was getting, you were thrilled for him and Scotty.

"Todd, you know I am so proud of you, don't you dare say I'm not. I'm mad because you promised you wouldn't leave without me, you promised to wait for me. I just don't understand why LA can't wait a few months while I finish high school? I don't understand why you didn't tell me this plan. When did you decide this? A week ago?" He went back to sitting in silence and twiddling with his thumbs.

"Five months ago." He whispered, hoping you didn't hear him.

"January? You decided this in JANUARY?! After we had already been together for SEVEN months, Todd?? I can't believe this." You weren't sure about what went down next, you are pretty sure you blacked out due to anger, but the next thing you knew you were outside in your car. You looked down at the steering wheel as you pulled out of the driveway and noticed you weren't wearing the promise ring that Todd had given you on your six month anniversary. You had ten missed calls from Todd and twelve messages by the time you made it back to your house.
