According to the Bill of Rights Institute, the Roe vs. Wade case resulted in the rights of a woman to have an abortion. The Fourteenth Amendment guarantees the right to privacy, which is the main standing point for abortion - that a woman can choose what to do with her body. This made abortion legal in the US. However, Norma McCorvey (Jane Roe), the plaintiff in the case would later change her mind and state that her involvement was "the greatest mistake of [her] life"

Abby Johnson, a former director of a Texas Planned Parenthood, participated in an ultrasound-guided abortion. Her involvement in the procedure disturbed her so much, she left Planned Parenthood and became pro-life. Planned Parenthood filed an injunction against her and in turn, she filed a suit against them. She revealed that Planned Parenthood was engaged in fraudulent billing practices and was trying to make her promote more abortion so that the facility would get more money. Abby Johnson won the case.

Lila Rose, the president of Live Action, a pro-life organization, has gone undercover and videotaped Planned Parenthood advising people to lie about their age so they can obtain an abortion. Her exposés have also led to discoveries of the selling of aborted baby parts.
