I watched as the monster almost killed Syd. I just sat there and watched! That's hard to believe. Was I scared, Stupid, maybe both. If Syd had died I don't know what would happen to the warriors of peace. "Sorry guys, the fallen soldier is dead, let's move on without her". You are probably wondering how I know that's Syd. I knew it was her ever since I saw her find her powers in the woods. I never got to tell her that I am the warrior of elements. She shot that thing through the heart. It was cool to watch. Then there was silence. I thought everything was fine. I was about to transform back to my normal self when I heard, The loudest, most obnoxious, scream ever. "NO!" I had to cover my ears. I look over. There is some girl in a red and black outfit. At first glance I thought she might be the Queen of demons. But she had horns and wings similar to those of a bat. She wasn't the queen of demons....she was a demon. I could've guessed by her spoiled brat scream. She flung Syd back and charged a fireball. That's when I knew I had to step in. I call some wind and I ride it all the way over there. "I WILL MAKE SURE YOU DIE" I hear as I approach. I get in the middle of them and start squirting water from my hands at her. "Not on my watch" I say cockily. This lasts maybe 20 seconds before the demon leaves to throw a tantrum somewhere else. I turn around. "EL!" Syd screams. "Whoa, not so loud, my ears already had enough of her screaming" I joke. She doesn't laugh. She might still be in shock. She stays in silence. "Are you going to say anything?" I ask her. "So... when you told me you could help, is that when you were gonna tell me?" she then asked me. "Well, I was going to tell you about 6 weeks ago but-" she stops me "You knew for more than a month!" she yells. I stay silent. "Uhhh yea" I finally responded. "Then why didn't you tell me". She looks frustrated. "I couldn't find the right time," I told her. I'm not sure if that was the truth. I think the truth actually was uncertainty. What if it wasn't actually her? What if I had told her and then it not being the case. What if she didn't believe me? What if she didn't want to be around me in normal form because I was a liar? Maybe, thinking about it now, uncertainty was the case. Or maybe something was keeping me from saying it. Some sort of conscience. As if at any moment someone could hear that conversation. "Do you know how long I spent trying to figure out who you were?" she speaks. "What?" "I spent all that time locked away in my room trying to find the warriors that had already awakened so I wasn't alone, just to find out you were here the whole time". She is on the verge of tears. "You are the fallen soldier! You're stronger than all of the other warriors you could manage until we've all united ''I tell her. "THAT'S NOT THE PROBLEM!" she screams. Wind starts to fill the air. She is getting upset. She calms down for a moment. "That demon that you just saved me from wants my head on a spike" she explains. "She tried to bribe me to exchange my life for my brothers, and since I refused she wants to take it by force". I was in shock "she visited you in your sleep too?" I ask her. "What?" she looks at me.
