Chapter 7 ~ The Shopping Spree

Sweets POV:
Veronica looked completely and utterly gorgeous, I mean she looks absolutely gorgeous everyday, but wow! She was in a simple black dress, black heels and her hair was loosely by her shoulders.

Veronica's dress.

Her shoes.

Her hair.
We all finally arrived at the shopping mall at around 10 o'clock.
"Right then, where should we head first? New look?" Kev asked us all. V, C and Max all nodded eagerly while the rest of us shrugged. "Off we go then." he smiled as we all walked towards the very daunting shopping mall.
4 hours later, we were completely famished! All of us were holding at least 3 large bags each as we struggled to trudge to the food hall. At last, we got to the food hall about 15 minutes later and all fell into chairs around 1 big table, put down our bags and sighed in relief. TT picked up 8 menus and passed 1 to me, 1 to Kev, 1 to Fangs, 1 to Arch, 1 to Max, 1 to V, 1 to C and kept 1 for herself. We all chose what we wanted and ordered. Arch then spoke up "So, what shop are we going to next?"
"Ummm... Would you ladies and Kevin mind if we went to a Sports shop, I know it's not your type of shop but... Please please pleeaase!" I begged and all the boys, aside from Kevin, nodded eagerly. The girls and Kevin giggled at us begging and rolled their eyes as C said "Fine! But only because you've let us go to soo many shops, and we're only about half way through the mall." I smiled.
"Thank you!" I said. Just then, our food came and we dug in, savouring every mouthful. Around about 35 minutes later, me and TT had finished eating and were waiting for everyone else to as well. We began whispering about how she really really liked C and I really did quite like V but also how we were both way too afraid to tell them. Afterwards, me and TT started laughing and joking about random things until everyone else had finally finished their lunch.
Max's POV:
This shopping trip had been amazing so far, it was so nice to be able to bond with everyone, even the boys, without having my overprotective little brother around to watch my every move like a hawk. I mean, I love him to pieces, but I can protect myself. After we all finished eating, we all began talking about a game plan for how the rest of the shopping trip would go. Then, the bill came and all the boys, apart from Kevin, insisted on paying for us and we reluctantly agreed. All 8 of us then stood up and walked away. 2 hours later, we only had 3 more shops left. As we were walking to Michael Kors, TT began looking really uncomfortable and uneasy. C noticed this too and said "Are you OK Toni?" TT shook her head and whispered "Those guys over there keeping winking at me." just then, those men started to come over to Toni and one of them said "Hey, gorgeous. It's lucky I brought my library card because damn am I checking you out!" the rest of them sniggered while we all shot every single one of them daggers.
"What's wrong, sweetheart? The cat got your tongue?" he cackled to TT.
"Leave. My. Sister. Alone. Now!" Sweets said through gritted teeth.
"Aww! What you gonna do? Scratch me?" one of them said, just as C, V and I pounced on 3 of them. Everyone else joined in, furious with how they thought that they could make my lil sis feel uncomfortable and get away with it. Thanks to the boys, us girls knew how to throw a proper punch and how to dodge one so none of us got injured, however the guys receiving the punches weren't so lucky. All you could hear were yelps and groans as the 8 of us taught them a lesson. About 5 minutes later, we heard sirens outside. We didn't care. We just kept profusely punching them until suddenly... Thud!
"Cheryl!" Toni screamed. I lost focus for a second and I felt something heavy hit my stomach like a ton of bricks. I fell back on the floor and hit my head then... everything turned black.
Toni's POV:
"Max!" I screamed, Cheryl and Max were both currently sprawled out across the floor, unconscious. I began to sob and Sweets came and hugged me close, rocking me soothingly. Everyone else continued to beat these brainless guys until all of a sudden, policemen came in and walked over to us.
One of them said "Right, you lot, up." Me, Sweets, V, Arch, Kev and Fangs stood up and 6 police officers automatically came over to us and began hand cuffing us as another police officer called an ambulance for C and Max. "Will they be OK?" I sniffed. "Hopefully." the police officer said. We all began walking out to the 2 police vans as the ambulance turnt up and went inside to collect all our shopping and C and Max.
Once me, Sweets and V were in the van I began to sob uncontrollably, scared for C and Max's lives. "Th... This... This is all m... My fault!" I cried. "I... If I hadn't m... M... Made such a big deal a... About how they were flirting w... With me, they w... Wouldn't have walked over a... A... And then we wouldn't have got into th... Th... That fight!"
"Toni," Sweets began "this isn't your fault. Those brainless men shouldn't have flirted with you like you were an object for them to buy." V nodded in agreeance.
"C and Max will be fine, you know how tough they are." she said brightly.
"Anyway, we need to call our parents and get them to bail us out and probably get them to call Betts and Jug as we might not get out tonight." Sweets said and I nodded, knowing how worried B and Jug would be.
Little did I know that this police station visit would last slightly longer than what any of us could imagine, thanks to our absolutely wonderful parents. It certainly wouldn't be fun for any of us, there's no doubt about that
