Its been 5 months, Maki-chan. And you still haven't go back to Japan.

The young man sighed as he lied down to his bed. Questioning himself why he hasn't confess his feelings to someone who he loves the most.
This question got onto his mind every single day. He always go outside and watch the stars, making a wish;
"I wish Maki-chan would go back here, so we can race again."
He closed his eyes
Until he saw the midnight sky.
Toudou would always dream about him and his loved one racing through the rain and holding his hand after the race.
If only that happen, he would be really happy. But it was too late.
Makishima Yuusuke, left Japan to help his brother in England. Anything to do for his family. He studied college there and always reads Toudou's letters.

"Dear Maki-chan,

Hey!! It's been a month! I hope you can go back to Japan to see the fireworks at new year! I would be happy if you were there with me! And we could race and settle our score again! Isn't that lovely? If you're going back in Japan, tell me ASAP!! So I can buy you food!

Loud crowds are heard from the outside
Everyone was enjoying because they have their family and their beloved ones
Looking around, Toudou sat down while eating Takoyaki, His favorite street food.
"Huhhh, how come are people enjoying today while I have nobody around hereee..."
He sighed and continued eating
"Ah, Jinpachi!"
"Oh! Shinkai! How's your 'date' with him.. eh??"
"Well it's fine I g—"
"Shut up! You're making me embarrassed, Shinkai!"
Arakita crosses his arms and pouted
"A-ah, I see you guys are getting along"
"Well, yeah! Anyways, we gotta go now."
Shinkai waved at Toudou and headed off
Yet, Toudou is still devastated, because he had no one.
Once again, he glanced and he saw Manami with Onoda, eating crepes.
"Oi, Manami!"
"Toudou-san!"
Manami ran up to Toudou while Onoda is taking pictures
"What are you doing with Onoda?"
"Well, we're just hanging out. Are you waiting for someone?"
"Uh, not really..?"
"Ah, alright then!"
He ran back to Onoda and patted his head
Toudou looked down, wondering if Makishima went back again to Japan.
Huh, it's 11:55 already.

He ran and called a taxi to bring him to the current location
Because of the time, the boy panicked and started to worry
Will I go there in time?
What if Jinpachi left?
So he messaged Toudou
but the signal at his current location is pretty bad so he sighed and looked at the time
11:59. Well fuck.
The taxi stopped and he looked around to find Toudou
He trembled while everyone started looking up at the sky
He ran, and ran
But failed to find him
He checked the time and looked around again
Everyone was doing the countdown

Wait, shit!
"1!"
He looked at the boy who sat down, wearing his hoodie while eating takoyaki.
"Happy New Year!!"
Everyone shouted
He went close to him
"Toudou.."
The boy looked at him, and started to tear up.
"M-Maki...chan...?"
Toudou ran up to him and hugged him tight
"You idiot! I thought you were never coming back!"
"Well, I did, Jinpachi. I just didn't tell you"
"How rude of you, Maki-chan!"

The fireworks stopped, and some people decided to go home
Toudou and Makishima are walking, and just talk about what happened.
"Well, I guess I'm gonna go now, Jinpachi."
"Wait! Maki-chan!"
Toudou stopped him from walking

He started to stutter his words while Makishima is confused
"I... love you, Maki-chan!"
The face of embarrassment Toudou has. Makishima held his hand and kissed him
"I love you too, Jinpachi"
He waved and went off.

Toudou rubbed his eyes and saw the sky,
It was morning
He sat down at his bed and started to cry
So it was just a dream..
