"Ah, Midousuji! It's late, I should go h—"
"No, not now, Ishigaki."
Midousuji stopped him from going home
He looked at Ishigaki and grinned
"We still have a place to go."
Ishigaki was confused, he doesn't know where they were going
"Alright then.."
The two of them walked and Midousuji held his partner's hand without him noticing. He wants to visit the place where he saw his favourite color, the color Yellow.
"We're here."
"Already..?"
Ishigaki looked at the place Midousuji was talking about
The place where the pretty fireflies fly around at night
"I remembered this place. The last time I visited this is when I was in middle school."
Midousuji sat down in the grass
"Sit down, Ishigaki-kun."
"O-okay."
Ishigaki sat down next to Midousuji
"This place is where I watched the fireflies at night. I tried catching one of them but accidentally killed them. I was gonna show this to my mother since she loves this place a lot. But it's too late."
Ishigaki was shocked after hearing that and stopped himself from tearing up
"The heavens called her already. And I've been depressed when I was 3rd year middle school. She's the only one that supports me everytime I joined a race."
"But I'm still here, Midousuji! I can visit the Inter-Hi—"
"But you might be desperate if Kyoto Fushimi lost, Ishigaki."
"No, I won't be."
"What do you mean?"
Midousuji looked at him, being confused
"I don't care if Kyoto Fushimi loses, atleast you guys have the chance to participate the Inter-High and have fun."
Ishigaki looked at Midousuji and smiled
"You know what, Midousuji? Road Racing isn't all about winning, but its all about enjoying yourself. If you lose then it's okay! If you won, then celebrate!"
"Enjoying..yourself?"
"Yeah!"
The two of them looked at the beautiful sky
"The view here is really great, right? Ishigaki-kun?"
He heard no response and looked to him
"Ishigaki..?"
He hugged him and closes his eyes
"I really like you, Ishigaki. Thankyou for helping me in my current situation."
Midousuji smiled and fell asleep
