Manami's Point of View
"And the winner is Sakamichi Onoda!"
I heard those words while the both of us crossed the finish line. He won the second time this summer's Inter-High. I don't know what to feel, but I made Hakone lose. I'm just a disgrace to the bicycle club.
"Manami-kun.. I won.."
Onoda removed his glasses and smiled at me
"Yeah Sakamichi-kun.. You did.. and I'm proud.." I smiled back
Guilt is filling over from my head to toe
I started to feel numb, because it's the second time I lost.
Onoda fell on his road racer and his support team helped him to go back to their tent
While I'm here, having the initiative to get off my bike and go inside to our tent
"Manami, I can't believe you lose for the second time!" Kuroda groaned in annoyance and went out
"Manami-san..? It's alright.. Here! Take a snack bar"
Yuuto handed me over his snack bar and stood up
"You did great, Manami-san!"
"Waah! Manami! Cheer up!!" Ashikiba pats my head as he was trembling, since he doesn't know what to say
"Manami, you did great. Doubashi is in the medic right now but you rest here." Izumida and Ashikiba went out to get some air
Did I really do great at this Inter High?
Or are they just lying?

Third Person View
Manami decides to leave early so he could go home and rest
He climbed to his house using a road racer, while tears are falling from his devastated eyes
Onoda, on the other hand, didn't expect to win but enjoys anyways. The young man's eyes were filled with joy as he walks to the stage.
The blue haired wonder boy got home so quick and locked himself in his room
He started to overthink a lot and fell asleep since he was tired.
"Manami, the MC is calling u—
MANAMI?!" Kuroda went inside the tent and tries to find Manami
"Manami?!? Is he missing?!"
Ashikiba panicked while Yuuto looks around
"Manami-san is missing?"
"Actually, he's not." Izumida showed the note from the wonder boy, saying that he's sick and needs to go home
"He should've just go to the medic.."
Kuroda whimpered
"Let's just go without Manami" Izumida went out to go to the stage
The young male with glasses saw Hakone Academy going on the stage, he didn't notice that Manami wasn't there
"Ah, Manami-kun! Congr—"
He stopped when he saw that the one he loved for a very long time, isn't there with them.
That's strange, why isn't Manami-kun there?

"Oh hey! Isn't that the loser who lost the Inter High twice?"
Everyone are starting to spread rumours when Manami went inside of his classroom, he didn't mind at all. He doesn't care when Miyahara ignored him. He doesn't feel anything at all since he lost the Inter High. He quits the Cycling club because of that.
Even if he got bullied, he doesn't even care. He just studied and studied. That's what he just did this school year.
After the first day of school, he decided to go to Akihabara to look around, but he saw Onoda with Makishima and Toudou
Even his mentor is proud of the young male with glasses. Manami felt disappointed, he stood up there looking at Onoda with his water bottle while Onoda noticed that Manami was there
"Oh Manami-kun! Congratula—"
Manami dan before Onoda continued his words
"M-MANAMI-KUN?!??"
"Let him be—sho. He'll do better this next Inter High."
Makishima pats Onoda
"But Makishima-san..."
"If you wanna follow my apprentice, then go follow him! Whahaha!"
Toudou laughed off while Onoda got his bike and followed Manami

Why is there a trail of blood?
Onoda noticed until he saw his water bottle fell on the way to the wonder boy's house
He picked it up and rode again
The young male was worried about Manami running away from them.
While pedaling, he heard a voice shouting.
"WHY IS IT ALWAYS YOU?
NOT ME?!
I JUST WANT TO BE LIKE YOU
WINNING THIS INTER HIGH!"
Onoda panicked. Instead of pedaling that slow, he raised his cadence and saw a door open
He ran quickly until he saw the wonder boy on a chair and a noose on his neck
"WHY CAN'T IT BE ME?!"
"MANAMI-KUN!"
Manami stopped and looked behind him
It was Onoda
"Manami-kun, please dont.."
"Sakamichi-kun..—"
"JUST BECAUSE YOU LOST THE INTER HIGH TWICE DOESNT MEAN YOUR A DISAPPOINTMENT!"
The wonder boy stopped
"STOP THINKING THAT YOU DISAPPOINT YOUR SCHOOL!"

Stop thinking that you disappoint your school
He removed the noose around his neck
Got down from the chair
and started to tear up
His anger got away that quick
Onoda hugged him tight while sobbing
"Sakamichi-kun.."
"Please don't do it. Please don't do it!"
Onoda said while crying
Manami looked at his wrist with bandages and pats Onoda
"Don't worry Sakamichi-kun. I won't."
