Chapter 40

Adriana's POV

Hours have passed, they finally let Aaron out of the hospital.  I told Cameron to go home, I told him I wanted to hang out with Aaron. But I was going to tell him why he saw me that way earlier.

"Aaron, want to go to Starbucks?" I asked

"Sure." He said

I pushed his wheelchair into the elevator. I texted Cameron and he said him and Jack were at home.

We got to Starbucks and ordered. I payed and took the drinks to our table.

"Thanks Adri, so why did you look like you were crying when you went into the room?" He asked.

"Well I went to see Matt and he kept saying how he missed me and he said words can't explain how much he missed me and that he loved me. He started crying and I wiped his tears. Then he kissed me and I pulled away quickly. I told myself I couldn't fall in his trap again. I love Jack to the moon and back. Then I just walked out of his room." I said tearing up

"Adri don't cry, he was trying to get you to fall into his trap again. Listen to me, don't trust Matt in what he says."

"Ok."

"And I do trust Jack because you have dated him before. Man that relationship lasted long."

"Hahaha yeah it did."

"Why did you guys break up?"

"We didn't want anybody finding out so we just broke up with each other."

"Nobody would have found out. Maybe Cameron would have approved."

"Aaron I started dating him when I turned 15."

"True let's head home I'm pretty tired." He said

"Ok I'll drop you off and I'll come back to my apartment."

"Ok."

I helped Aaron in and put the wheelchair in the back. Then I got into the truck. If your wondering we just walked to the apartment parking garage. Then, we drove off to the guys house.

(10 minutes later)

We got to the guys' house and I helped Aaron out. I got his wheelchair and he sat in it. I wheeled him in and the guys were watching tv.

"Thanks Adri, I'll text you later." Aaron said

"Welcome Aaron. I'll be home, well bye guys."

"Bye." They all said

I went to my truck and got in. I put on my seatbelt and left. I couldn't stop thinking about today. I kept replaying that moment in my head. All those things Matt said were sweet but I forgave and we are just friends.

I got home about 10 minutes later. I parked the truck and went up to the apartment. When I opened it I only saw Cam sitting on the couch.

"Hey, where's Jack?" I asked

"In your room, he said he was tired."

"Oh ok."

I went up the stairs and I opened my door quietly. I went over to my dresser and  got my beats and then left the room. I went to the guest room and closed the door and just laid on the bed. I plugged in my headphones and just started watching Netflix.
