Today I got my aptuide test.It wasn't what I was expecting.I got dauntless.I was laying on my bed in my home.Waiting on my father to come home and start screaming at me to do dinner.
"MACKENZIE GET UP AND MAKE ME DINNER!" Just in cue.
"Okay father."I went straight to the kitchen trying to not,make eye contact with him.I got all the plain food and started making dinner.
"OH AND GUESTS ARE COMING OVER SO,MAKE EXTRA!"
"Yes sir."I responded.Just when I was finishing I heard the the doorbell ring.I went to go to answer the door.And,saw Mr. And Mrs. Prior.Good friends of my fathers.
"Hello Mr and Mrs. prior come in." I put on a smile.They smiled back and entered the house.I then started putting the food in the plates and sat them in the table.My father told them to go sit in the table to eat.I sat next to my father and started eating.And they started talking about something I dont care about.
"So Mackenzie,Tomorrow is your choosing cermony.Hopefully you pick the right faction because you dont get to choose again."Mrs.Prior told me.
"Oh she will."My father smiled.I finsished eating and exused myself from the table.I washed my plate and went to bed early.
Skip to Next moring-
Today is my choosing ceremony.I was one of the earliest people since my father was annoucing the names.When all the factions were there , my father started talking and I zoned out till he started naming names.Most of them were picking their original faction.I sat there till I heard my father say my name.
"Mackenzie Eaton."People started staring at mea and I got up from my chair and walked to tghe the stage where I found 5 bowls.Each saying its faction.Father handed me a knife.I gladly accepted it.I dug it into my hand and hovered my hand over dauntless and my blood dripped down.I heard gasps but later turned into cheers.I walked to the dauntless section and sat next to a candor transfor.
