13 Colonies walked along the London bridge alone, his parents were both in another part of England for the rest of the day. The morning was when he met USSR and his son Russia. America wasn't aloud by himself because his father and mother were worried that he would get kidnapped or something. The workers in the house only listened to him when he needed something. Colonies had managed to sneak out when no one was around and he was curious about the world and wanted to explore what was happening beyond the palace he lived in. America looked down from the very tall bridge into the sea. Boats looked so small from where he was he giggled looking at the view, America's eyes look slowly to the far horizon. The cloudy dawn made the sunset look yellow and gray with slight orange and the sun a strong orange. America felt the wind blow out to sea where he was looking. He had a strong pull to the ocean. He wanted to know what was out there. The curiosity overwhelmed America, but in a good way. He reached his hand out to the sea wanting to see what was out there, his hand went out far.
Colonies realized he was barely hanging on to the bridge and he hesitated and tried to scream but his fall scared him too much and he only made a soft "Ah!" America was suddenly grabbed by the leg before he fell too far. America got lifted up and he saw USSR holding on to him.
"What were you thinking!?" He yelled still holding the small boy by the leg. America only smiled and laughed.
"I thought I could fly!" He joked.
"Well I don't see any wings," USSR replied trying not to laugh at the child's humor of almost plummeting to his death, so he only had a soft chuckle. USSR lifted America more and turned him upright before placing him down. America let out a "Wooah!" and turned to his rescuer. "Thanks."
"Just don't jump off of bridges again and you won't have to thank me," USSR said patting Colonie's head. "Or your dad would kill me." America just laughed.
"You're not going to tell him are you?" He whined. USSR looked at him, and sigh.
"Just don't bridge dive, then I won't tell." He smiled showing his sharp teeth. America glowed with relief and sigh. "Come on I'll walk you home." He turned and America skipped by him.
"So America." USSR's Russian accent sounded monotone. "What were you doing falling off the bridge?"
America scratched his neck and blushed, he was embarrassed to say that he was distracted by a sunset. "I just got caught up in the view." He said sparing the details.
"I see. England does have some amazing sunsets." America looked up at the elder. "But nothing like RUSSIA!" The Russian said boldly holding up a fist. The breeze was picking up again making the Soviet Union's scarf move up and down, side to side with the breeze.
"Really!?" America said, his thirst for adventure coming back. "What's it like?"
"Well... All I can say is... when you see it you forget the world and see the only comfort." USSR's voice calming down and his accent thick. "You must find my talking boring."
"Really because that sounds awesome!" America said his stars on his flag glimmering. USSR gave him a confused look.
"I never get out! I have to be around adults if I want to get out, my dad doesn't trust me. So I have to sneak out." America was dancing around him adding in matching actions. When he was done complaining to the Soviet Union he jumped in front of him and stood on his toes to look taller. "That is boring. Not you" America added.
USSR was surprised and looked up thinking what the kid said. He never thought of himself that way. He looked back down at America who looked like he said something wrong because of the award silence.
"Never in all of Europe have I heard that..." America got scared hoping he didn't offend the leader of Russia. "And neither have I met someone like you." USSR gave America a reassuring smile and patting his head again. America smiled back showing his teeth (he didn't have fangs). They both laughed and they kept walking and USSR put his hand on America's back to signal him to come.
"Know... Can you tell me about Russia and ALL the other places you've visited?"
USSR giggled, "Ya why not."

"So I was cornered, more than ten men blocking me. The only gun I had with ammo was a pistol. So what do I do?" USSR said. Both he and America were almost to were America lived The Buckingham Palace. He didn't want to go home because USSR had so many stories he wanted to hear. Right now he was in the middle of one of the many battles the Soviet Union was in. "I rolled out of my cover and started the shoot at them all, quickly going left and right, up and down to avoid getting shot. Luckily though those so-called soldiers didn't think I would have the guts to come out. I took them all down one by one."
America gasped with awe. "Really!" He started skipping up and down, adrenaline going threw him as he imagined the fight. "How'd you kill them all!? I want to hear all the details." USSR laughed and stopped at the Palace gate.
"I think your too young to hear that part." USSR knocked on the gate. There was a loud beep and a British voice was heard
"Hello?"
"You got a package from USSR."
"We'll be right with you."
USSR winked and smiled at America. He giggled in reply. There was a fast creaking noise as the Palace gates opened and a French accent came from the person who opened it.
"Oh America!" France said kneeling down and hugging her son. "We came back as soon as we could! But when we heard you sneak out we panicked!"
"Thanks... Mom... But your... Choking me." America said choking on his words as France hugged him. She quickly let go, and slowly stood up to see USSR.
"Thank you." She said, he nodded.
"Yes, thank you." A British voice was heard. America gulped he knew who it was, his dad.
"Hey... Dad..." America said, his words lengthened and he didn't turn around.
"Don't hey dad me, Colonies," England said. "You are in big trouble."
USSR folded his arms, he couldn't blame the kid with his curiosity he could get into trouble. And it did. "Hey go easy on him England."
"USSR this doesn't involve you." England's strict voice made America shiver. "Though I thank you." America felt his father's hand on his shoulder. France looked sympathetic but didn't say anything and only sighed. USSR just stood there.
"Come on Colonies."
America obeyed and turned to walk to his home, he walked halfway but stopped and turned to USSR. The Russian still stood there but smiled and waved. America replied by waving back.
I hope you teach me more about the world, USSR. Maybe we'll go on our own adventure. Can you promise
