Third Person POV
The boys gathered in Kairi's living room, Ale and Alvaro playing FIFA while Robert and Roshaun were live. Kai and Mattia were sat on his couch, Kai in between his legs as he scrolled on his phone.
Kai had been trying to get Mattia to pay attention to him for god only knows how long, and he was starting to get frustrated at the younger boy. Mattia's eyes were glued to the screen, scrolling through Charli D'Amelio's tik tok page. Every once in a while, Mattia would say something along the lines of "bro look at how hot she is," while turning his phone to face Kairi.
Kai always just nodded and didn't reply, not paying attention to the video his bestfriend showed him. Kairi sighed loudly, getting tired of being ignored by Mattia. Kairi decided to spice some things up. Ale was still playing FIFA, but Alvaro had gone to sit with Roshaun and Robert, who had just ended their live. Kairi had an idea.
Kai got on his phone, going to tik tok and clicking on the plus sign down at the bottom, creating his own video with no sound. Ale is sitting in a chair, directly in front of the TV, focusing on his game. His brows are knitted across his forehead, his concentration being apparent.
Kairi is the baby of the friend group, all of the boys babied him. Especially, Ale and Mattia. Ale didn't have feelings for the boy, they were just oddly close. All the boys were suspicious though. Mattia and Kairi however, both had some unspoken and unresolved feelings for the other, but neither would admit that. Too much fear of rejection and fear of losing the other as their best friend.
Kai pressed record, starting to walk over to Ale. Kai stopped directly in front of the focused boy, making his eyes dart up to Kai's before he glanced passed him to see the screen. Kai walked closer to Ale, bringing one of his legs up and putting it over Ale's. Then he did the same with his other leg, bending down so his head slid under Ale's arms which were connected by the controller in his hands. Kai wrapped his legs around Ale's waist. Kai had slowly gotten the other boys attention, making Ale release the controller from one hand, using it to pull Kairi closer so he didn't fall off his lap.
Kairi snaked his arms around the back of Ale's midsection, burying his head in the crook of the other boys neck. Kai took a deep breath, unknowingly catching the attention of the other boys in the room. Alvaro, Roshaun, and Robert all looked up from their phones, shrugged their shoulders and went back to what they were doing. Mattia on the other hand, was fuming.
Mattia glared daggers into the back of Ale's head, watching as he used his free hand to run up and down Kairi's back soothingly. Kai was whispering in Ale's ear, and Alejandro would smile and whisper something back. Kairi had completely forgotten about the tik tok he was filming, the quiet sound playing on a loop as it finished recording. Ale leaned down and pressed a kiss to the side of Kairi's neck, as he often did to comfort the boy. A bright red blush spread across Kai's cheeks, burying his face into Alejandro's neck further.
