This morning, I had mail. It was addressed from my father again. I opened the letter. This time there was no money in it, sadly. But there was a letter from my mom. Apparently, I was going to meet her again in a couple of weeks on Saturday. I looked inside the envelope to see if there was anything else. There was a letter from my dad, so I reluctantly opened it. It read:

Dear son,
I hope you are doing well. Work hard and don't disappoint me again.

That was it. What the heck? Why couldn't he just text me that? I rolled my eyes and crumpled it up. I tossed it in the trash, like a basketball.

"Another letter from your dad?" Tae asked.

"Yep."

I hurried up and got ready for classes. Today I had class with Jungkook. I was actually looking forward to that. But first, I had to get through math class.

Class went by slowly. The girl behind me kept whispering to her friend, and the kid next to me had an eraser that kept making squeaky noises.  I was about to lose it, but just then, I heard a loud, disturbing noise.

The teacher had sat down on one of cushions that made a fart noise when you sit on it.  The whole class erupted in laughter.  Even though we were in high school, it was still funny.  I'd only seen people use that prank on teachers, in T.V. shows.

The teacher turned as red as a strawberry as she picked it up.
"Who did this?"
The whole class turned to the one person that they thought it could be.  That was Wonjeon.
"Was this you?"
"Guilty as charged," He said winking.
"Don't get all cocky, you could've done better than that.  That was way too basic."
The whole class turned back to the teacher, in awe.  We all thought he was gonna be in trouble, but it almost seems  like she's encouraging him.

"Do you think you could do better, Ms. Shilang?"Wonjeon asked.
"Definitely,"
"Oh it's on."
"Let the prank wars begin. And there is no homework.  Except for you, Wonjeon.  You had better come up with a better prank by the next class, or else there will be consequences." She smiled, and left with a dramatic hair flip.

What just happened? Man, my teacher was a lot more fun than I thought.  I grabbed by bag and hurried to English class.  Jungkook and I were supposed to study in the teachers lounge next to the classroom. Which was great. I mean, there were no boring lessons that I had to sit through and no annoying classmates. It was just me and Jungkook. Plus, the furniture was super comfy.

When I got there, Jungkook already had his books out and had a worksheet. He handed me one.
"These are some of the words that might be on the exam."
"Thanks."
"Oh, and I brought snacks," He said with a wink.
He pulled out a bag of popcorn and put it in the microwave. Another perk of the teacher's lounge.

I smiled and sat in the seat next to him. I looked at the list and got out my computer. I entered them into a website that helps you practice the words.
I sent Jungkook the link, as usual.

We ate the popcorn and studied in peace. When the teacher came to check on us, we hid the popcorn under the table. He didn't suspect a thing. As soon as he left, we laughed. He threw a piece of popcorn at me, and I caught it in my mouth.
"Nice, my turn."
I threw a piece at him and he caught it.
"Jungkook, you are a man of many talents."
"Besides in English." We both laughed even more.
My least favorite class, had turned into my favorite one in just one day. I had made a new friend.
