Skyla walked home opening the front door "oh honey where have you been i've been worried sick" "i'm sorry i was over at John B's. I didn't realize how late it got, please don't tell dad." Skyla's mom Sarah nodded giving Skyla a hug.

Skyla walked to her room grabbing a book from her book shelf sitting on her bed reading. Hours flew by and she put her book back on the shelf grabbing her bag "hey mom i'm going to John B's tonight" "who is John B? Sounds like a boys name." "he's just a friend dad I promise."

"He better just be a friend I don't want you getting yourself knocked up" Dave, Skyla's dad said chugging his beer. "Honey leave her alone she can have guy friends without them being her boyfriend" "did i say she couldn't have guy friends?" Dave got in Sarah's face, Skyla took this chance to leave before her dad could do or say anything else.

"Sky you're here" "hey JJ, John B" Skyla grabbed the blunt from JJ taking a hit "So what's on the agenda tonight" "you know the usual. Smoking and drinking." JJ laughed "of course" she responded taking a seat next to JJ.

Skyla woke up to the rooster crowing "rise and shine Sky" John B walked past her flicking on the light "good morning to you to."

"No power. Great." "there's no power?" Skyla questioned getting up and stretching. "Nada" "that's amazing" she sarcastically replied. "Yo, JJ, you been outside?" "I have polio, bro. I can't walk" John B walked out. "Get your ass up JJ" Skyla jokingly said, "anything for you" JJ said making Skyla roll her eyes.

"Holy shit" Skyla looked at everything "oh man." "Agatha did some work, huh?" "Yeah, she did." replied Skyla and John B. "JJ it's like ten in the morning. Really?" Motioning to the beer in his hand "you can never be to early." Skyla shook her head as she walked out to where John B was.

"What you thinkin'?" "I'm thinkin' that storm surge pushed all the crabs out on the marsh maze." Skyla smiled knowing where John B was going with this. "All those drum are gonna chase the crab."

"What about the DCS? Wasn't that today?" "JJ have you taken a look around they can't come for John B when everything is like this." "Like Sky said they're not gettin' on a ferry. But look it's god telling us to fish." "yes let's go" Skyla replies cheerfully, JJ smiled at her then looking back at John B "let's go then."

"Dude look at this place." Skyla looked around looking at how wrecked everything was "Agatha, what did you do?" "She is a crazy lady." "Yeah she is." Skyla said.

Skyla tunes the boys out watching everything as they passed by. "Well look who we have here." "We have a safety meeting. Attendance mandatory." "I can't. My pop's got me on lockdown." "Ah come on Pope" Skyla motioned towards the boat "get in."
