"why are you here?" i asked. he was wearing jeans and a black hoodie. he starts to walk to me and locks the door. then i felt his hands touch my skin. he gripped onto my waist and pulled me closer.
"i said i was going to get revenge, right?" he responded, smirking.
"i told you i'm not one of your hoes." i said, pushing him away. then someone knocked on the door, and i opened it.
it was a girl who had brown hair, green eyes, and had a bitchy look. i never saw her before on campus so i was beyond confused. but it looked like mattia and her knew each other.
"i came here to talk to mattia." she says. i looked at mattia and he was looking down. god, how many girls does he fucking talk to?
"good. i wanted him out of here." i said while pushing him out of the room. "good fucking bye."
i slam the door and lay down on my bed. then someone knocked on my door AGAIN.
"what now?" i said as i was opening the door. it wasn't mattia, it was kairi.
"damn. i just wanted to hangout with you." he said. i chuckled and walked to the side so he could walk in.
i closed the door and sat on my bed. i took out a whole bottle of vodka underneath my bed and i take the cap off and start to drink.
"lemme get some." kairi grabbed the bottle and took a sip. he made a face and coughed. i walk to my dresser to search for weed, and i found it.
i sat back down beside him and started to smoke the blunt instantly.
"something on your mind, lately?" kairi asked as i exhaled smoke. i coughed a bit and passed the blunt to him.
"yea. i gave mattia a blowjob and my ex came saying he missed me and shit." i said. kairi ran his fingers through his hair, then looked at me.
"mattia's a player. he fucks then dips. and your ex?what'd he do?" he responded.
"he cheated on me. plenty of times." i rolled my eyes and took the blunt from him.
"fuck him, then." kairi said, making me laugh. then there was this silence between us but i decided to break it.
"kairi. can i tell you something?" i stuttered. he nodded as he sipped the vodka. kairi and i barely met, but i felt comfortable with him somehow. when destiny isn't there, he's the backup.
"is it bad to tell you i don't believe in love. like boys and relationships?" i said. he furrowed his eyebrows then giggled. did i say something funny?
"no, natalie. i agree with you. i got cheated on twice." he says as he changed the LED lights to purple.
"oh. shit." i said, unable to say anything else. he shrugs and smiled, like it was fine. but it really wasn't.
"alexa, play 'no idea by don toliver' " kairi yelled. wait. hold up. huh?
"since when did we-" i started to say.
