One Shot to Shine

Chapter 4

Kirishima and Bakugou walked down to the kitchen together suprised to find nobody there.
"Are we holding hands while we're at school?" Kirishima asked a bit nervous.
"Only if you're comfortable with it, the only time I will push your boundaries is in bed like this morning, I'm not a total ass." Bakugou replied rummaging for breakfast.
"Ok, thank you by the way this morning was... um..." Kirishima couldn't find the words.
"Just wait till I have more than thirty minutes." Bakugou replied smiling.
Kirishima bent down to look in the fridge for some juice only to feel the sudden impact of a hand on his ass. He jumped and smacked his head on the edge of the fridge, he pulled his head out holding the juice bottle in his hand. Bakugou smiled slyly and wrapped his hand around Kirishima's waist.
"Do I have to beg again?" Kirishima whispered.
"No." Bakugou breathed as he leaned in pushing Kirishima up against the fridge.
Bakugou's lips felt a lot lighter this time as he kissed Kirishima. His hand cupping the side of his head, the other hand bracing himself on the fridge. The kiss slowly deepened as Kirishima opened his mouth and their tongues mingled together. Bakugou let out a small moan. Kirishima felt Bakugou's body stiffen against him as he went to pull away Kirishima saw why. Standing at the bottom of the stairs was Mina and Sue. Mina's face was one of absolute glee while Sue looked more confused than anything.
"Yes, I knew it, oh my gosh this is great you guys." She ran up and hugged them both.
"Get off me." Bakugou grumbled.
"You dont think its weird?" Kirishima asked slightly worried.
"Are you kidding this is awesome I'm so happy for you." Mina replied.
"Sue?" Kirishima looked at her worry still eating at him.
"I'm happy for you guys, you know me Kirishima if your happy I'm cool with it no matter what." She smiled at him.
"That's a relief." Kirishima sighed the anxiety slowly draining away.
"If anyone has a problem with us I'll blow them away." Bakugou said lighting tiny explosions in his hand.
Kirishima and Bakugou walked over to the couch they had another hour before class started so they decided to wait for everyone else.
"Where is everyone?" Kirishima asked Mina.
"Thats right you weren't in class yesterday, Mr. Aizawa said he'd meet us here at nine which is why we where able to throw the party for you last night." Mina said as she munched on a granola bar.
"Hmmm, so we have a whole two hours before class actually starts today?" Bakugou mused suggestively.
"If you guys are gonna make out some more Mina and I can leave you to it," Sue quipped up "We have to go get the rest of the girls up anyway."
"Yeah, we'll see you later." Mina waved as they headed back upstairs.
Kirishima was weighing the option of going back to one of their rooms as Bakugou sat next to him looking up at the ceiling. Bakugou looked over at him and as Kirishima went to speak he grabbed him by the hips and settled him into his lap. Kirishima blushed wildly and Bakugou smiled.
"You know you're really sexy when you blush like that." Bakugou said running his hands up underneath Kirishima's shirt.
"You th...think so." Kirishima stuttered.
"Oh yes my Kiri I do." Bakugou replied pulling him closer as they started to kiss again.
They kissed for what seemed like hours before a small cough interpreted them, Bakugou thought it was just one of the girls again till he peered around Kiri's shoulder. He suddenly became aware that they had amassed the presence of their whole class. Some had looks of shock, while others smiled happily at them, Mineta looked like he was gonna laugh, puke, and pass out all at the same time. He tapped Kirishima on the shoulder which made the red head freeze and spin around suddenly. Iida came down the stairs at that very second complaining about the blockage in the hallway when his eyes caught sight of them on the couch he suddenly switched gears to the misconduct of using the public area for private moments. Which made everyone including Kirishima and Bakugou start laughing.
Everyone took turns telling them how happy they where and how it didn't bother them any if they where a couple. All except Mineta who couldn't understand but said he was fine with it, less competition that way. All the girls explained that as soon as Mina noticed something was up between the two of them she hatched her master plan hoping that they would hook up. Not to everyone's suprise it had worked beautifully.
As they where winding down and waiting Kirishima had gotten lots of remarks about his hickey and Iida scolded Bakugou telling him it was unprofessional for a hero to walk around with such marks. Bakugou told him to shut it as Todoroki walked over and placed a cold hand over it.
"Hey man what gives?" Kirishima jumped away.
"I'm helping to get rid of it before Mr. Aizawa gets here, it works the same as putting a metal spoon against it." He replied explaining how the cold makes the bruising go away faster.
Kirishima nodded and let him freeze his neck till the hickey look like nothing more than a slightly discolored spot on this neck.
"Thanks man." Kirishima said trying to regain the feeling from where Todoroki's hand had been.
Everyone had been gathered in the living room and the initial reaction had died down by the time Aizawa got there, however now they faced a new issue. Aizawa explained that today they'd be pairing up in teams of two and taking turns with Present Mic doing an interview explaining what their idea of a heroic society is. He also explained that as the teams that where doing their bits everyone else would be doing training exercises in gym gamma.
" The teams are as followed, Todoroki and Yaoyorozu, Aoyama and Sue, Kaminari and Ashido, Midoriya and Uraraka, Hagakurie and Ojiro, Iida and Mineta, Jiro and Koda, Tokoyami and Shoji, Sato and Sero, and Kirishima and Bakugou, any questions?" Aizawa asked.
"Yes, why are we doing this?" Uraraka asked.
" Principal Nezu believes this will help show the world you understand what you want to accomplish and it will help you get a taste for what the media will be like after you graduate, which is why a few of you problem children have been placed with someone who will help keep you on track or in check, remember these will be aired on television so try not to embarrass yourselves." He sighed
"If there are no more questions come with me." He lead everyone outside and onto the bus.
Kirishima and Bakugou sat next to each other, Bakugou lightly playing with Kirishima's neck and ear as Kirishima rested his head on Bakugou's shoulder. Aizawa looked back and smiled slightly into his scarf at the sight of the class's number one hot head being so gentle, now if only he'd be that caring with everyone else.
The bus ride was a little less than an hour so the teams where charged with discussing together what they would say during their interview. As they pulled up to the station Kirishima felt his stomach drop he knew not everyone was going to be as accepting as his classmates, and worried how the rest of Japan would feel about a pair of gay heroes.
Bakugou grabbed his hand and winked at him, the man oozed confidence which helped boost Kirishima's, they would be ok and they would get through this together.
