Dahyun loves her job, she really does. She's good with money, she's good with people, and even she has to admit her smiles are dazzling. That's why she's so great at her job.
Unfortunately, the shop is...not so great in publicity, to say the least. It's to be expected of course, as a small cafe next to big brands and famous entertainment companies. Whether it's rain or shine – but especially in the rain – Dahyun often finds herself bored out of her mind and the desire to quit grows stronger.
Of course, she always shakes the thought out of her mind. She can't afford to quit. Not when the job pays so well.
There's a familiar bell chime as the door opens, breaking her away from her idle train of thought, and someone steps in. Quickly, Dahyun pulls herself together, make herself presentable, and rushes to the door.
"Welcome! How can I help you?" she greets the customer with a bright smile, casually brushing her hair away from her nametag. Experience has taught her how important a name can be.
As if on cue, the girl glances over at her nametag. "Miss...Dahyun? Do you have any cake recommendations?"
Dahyun wonders if it's alright for the customer to be here. The cafe is full of sugary delicacies and the person in front of her looks like a model (from the nearby entertainment company, perhaps?). But she reminds herself that first impressions aren't accurate and she needs to make money anyways, so she beams.
"Of course! Do you have any preferences?"
The customer shakes her head. "It's not for me, it's for a friend. She likes strawberries," she replies.
A fond smile appears on her face and Dahyun has to wonder if her friend is just a friend.
