late nights [tododeku]

again

it's been two weeks since their little sleepover. todoroki has accepted the fact that he is falling for his best friend.

he was excited, waving midoryia goodbye as he arrived at his apartment complex, midoryia yelling as he ran up the stairs, "I'll see you tonight at 6! don't keep me waiting!"

todoroki could only laugh and nod, turning his back to the complex as he walked down the street to his own house.

midoryia stopped walking up the stairs, turning his attention to the boy who was walking home, sighing as he leaned his face against his hand. he watched him with admiration, soft giggles escaping his lips as he ran up the stairs, hurrying into his home.

"mom! tonight todoroki is coming. I promise we'll be quiet-" midoryia's mother shook her head, smiling as she spoke. "Izuku, I am working late tonight. I leave at 5 tonight, I should be back at 5 AM at least." his mom said with a smile, "you two can talk as loud as you want. as long as you don't disturb the neighbors." izuku nodded and ran to his room to get his room all ready and bed all nice and fluffy.

it was currently 4:36 PM. still having time, he took a quick shower. getting dressed in some black shorts he could sleep in and white oversized shirt.

todoroki was at his house by 4:59 and took a shower, cleaning himself up from any sweat or anything, making sure his hair was thoroughly cleaned and everything. drying himself and dressing himself in some grey sweats and a black t shirt.

at 5:58, a knock at midoryia's door caused him to sit quickly, running to it to see todoroki and opened the door for him, walking in and removing his shoes and leaving them by the door. "where's your mom?" todoroki asked as he walked in, midoryia looking the door behind him. "oh! she works tonight so it's just us!"

todoroki nodded softly and looked at him, taking in the younger male's appearance and smiling. he looked so cute in the oversized shirt, looking away as he spoke, "just because she's here you won't make me sleep on the floor, right?" todoroki said teasingly.

"No way!" midoryia let soft giggles escape his lips as he pushed him, gently. todoroki cracking a smile as he spoke, "that's a relief~" "mhm! I am making you sleep on the couch instead!" midoryia announced and todoroki groaned.

at 8:48 the two were sitting on the counter, munching on some pickles. "Midoryia, these are disgusting." todoroki said, staring at he green salty log as he finished taking a bite of it. midoryia beside him, happily nibbling on his as he kicked his feet. "then why are you eating them?"

todoroki shrugged, "it's dessert."
midoryia giggled softly and looked at todoroki, nudging him. they had eaten some left over rice and chicken for dinner, now they were digging through the fridge and cabinets for snacks to nibble on. finishing his pickle, midoryia washed his hands and put the jar away, todoroki finishing the rest of his with a huff.

after finishing their 'dessert' midoryia dragged him to the couch and he put on kpop mvs, connecting his phone to the tv.
"what even is the point of this? we can't even understand them." todoroki groaned and looked at the tv before glancing at midoryia who had gotten up, the volume loud so todoroki could hear.

"지금 하늘 구름 색은 tropical yeah."
midoryia sung as he used his phone as a pretend microphone as he giggled, todoroki sitting back, amused, looking back at the tv where the translation was. 'Now, the color of the cloud in the sky is tropical, yeah.' seemed normal enough. todoroki smiled and just watched his best friend be a fool, listening to him sing before he groaned as his best friend started to dance.

it was funny, watching midoryia but slowly he turned red as he started to sing the chorus.

"거기 너 I fancy you 아무나 원하지 않아."
midoryia sung as he used one hand to be the microphone and used the other one to dance the choreo. glancing behind the tv to see the translation. 'You there, I fancy you
I don't want just anyone' todoroki's own face turned slightly red as he read the lyrics on the screen, paying his attention back to his best friend, who continued to dance and sing.
