The duke and the nerd

Chapter six

~Logan's P.O.V.~

As I left the last class I had before lunch,  I ran into Patton and Virgil.  Virgil was holding Patton's hand, both blushing a tiny bit.

"Are you two dating?" I asked confused as I came from behind them. Virgil jumped and Patton looked back at me, as I came from behind them to beside them. When they saw me, they blushed a bit more

"No...But I told Virgil that every time he starts panicking , he has to hold my hand. Plus he said it helps." Patton said, Patton looked over at Virgil and squeezed his hand. "Its alright..." I heard Patton whisper. Virgil relaxed a bit. "We should probably go to lunch." Patton said looking at me. I nodded. We started walking towards our usual spot when we found Remus and Janus  yelling at each other, It wasn't loud  enough to draw attention but still a bit loud.

" I'm Sorry that I didn't want to hurt anyone!" Remus said with anger in his tone.

"Hurt anyone?!?! No one was going to get hurt Re! That was the plan!" Janus said meanier

" One, Don't call me Re. And two, You are a inconsiderate, arrogant man! Not even that, You aren't even a man! And 'No one was going to get hurt' Was once again, another lie! You can't stop can ya?! Once you get a friend, one that trusts you, You lie to them!" Remus mocked. I could see the fear in Pattons eyes and the terror in Virgils'. Janus stayed silent after Remus said that. "What? Not gonna fight back? Or you thinking of another lie to tell?!?! Hm? " Remus said starting to cry. 

"I....I've changed since then..." Janus said quietly, I could barely hear him. Patton looked like he wanted to do something, but couldn't, Virgil just stood there in shock and Roman was no where to be found. "Unlike you I see" He added at the end a bit louder.

"Oh so when you change, You change for the better.... But when I change, I change for the worse!" Remus said, drawing some attention.  Remus stood up then looked at us, now trying to hide the fact he was crying. "I'm.... I'm leaving..." He said starting to walk away. 

" You could never stop being the bad guy." Janus said looking at Remus from behind. "You could never stop, could you?" He asked, not giving up the fight. Remus turned his head back to him, eyes full of tears and anger. Remus flipped him off and started walking away, the walk turned into a jog and the jog turned into a run. We stood there in a shock for a bit before walking towards Janus. That day, we ate in silence, Roman never showed up. 

At the end of the day I went to my dorm, planning to talk to Remus but he was no where to be found. I brushed a side the feeling of worry and started on my homework.
