chapter nine.

"R-Ro..." I said quietly.  

Logan glanced at me then looked at the poster. "he's messing?" He asked. I nodded, Yeah I hated his guts but he was still my brother. 

"I need to find him." I said, taking a picture of the poster. "Wait... but who put up the poster?!" I asked realizing I didn't put it up. Logan thought for a bit. 

"Most likely the teachers." Logan said, I looked at him and nodded. "I'm helping you look for him though. I know this town better then you" He said,making a point. 

"Alright.." I said as I started walking away, back to the dorm. When we  pack some bags. 

"Flashlight?"

"Check."

"Food?"

"Check"

"what else was on the list?"

"Remus-"

"dOn'T yElL aT mE aNd My DuMb BrAiN!"

"It's 'my dumb brain and I' also you aren't dumb. We should focus on finding Roman. You wanted to find him so let's not get off topic please."

"f i n e" 

And with that we were off. We decided to check the forest first. My mind was racing. 'Did he run? Was he token? Who would take him? Why would he run? Did we hurt him? Did someone other then me hurt him? Where would he be? What if hes h-' All of a sudden there was a hand on my shoulder. 

"Remus, are you alright?" He asked. I snapped out of my thoughts and nodded. We continued walking then there was a fork in the road. 

"You have your phone and/or walky tocky?" I asked, pulling my phone out of my pocket. He nodded and pulled out his phone. "Alright. I'll go left and you can go forward." I said starting to walk away from Logan. I felt something or someone grab my hand. I look to see Logan. 

"Please be safe." He said, I give him a reassuring nod and continue walking. As I was walking I saw something, I looked and saw it was the rat I helped before. 

"Hey little guy.." I say softly going towards it. It seems to know me right off the bat and runs to me. I pick them up. "Have you seen my brother...?" I asked it, Now anyone else may think i'm crazy for talking with a rat but they're actually pretty smart. It tills his hand, not knowing what he looks like. "Basically me, but not. He wears red and white, has red-ish brown eyes and is more dramatic then me." I explain, they nod then start running. I run after it then it stopped. I didn't see why. "What is it bud-" I froze. "R-Roman... n-no...." I ran up to his cadaverous body. "Y-you can't... no no no no.." I panicked. What would I do, call the cops,call Logan, call the others? I started crying, he's gone, my own brother.. after a minute or two I called Logan.

"L-Lo..."

"Remus, did you find him?"

"Yeah..."

"How long will it take for you two to come back?"

"He... He can't come.."

"Well why? I believe you can carry him if he's injured."

"It's.. he's..." I couldn't finish it was to hard to. 

"Oh?" He said confusedly, I just hung up the phone. Yeah I love him but he can't really talk about emotions and has no clue what I was trying to get at.

Logan's P.O.V.

He hung up. I was confused then called the others. Patton had made a group chat with all of us in it. It was nine so no one was asleep. 

{P}"What do you need kiddo?"

{J}"Lo? Why are you calling the chat?"

{L}"Remus and I went to go find Roman then we had to split up. He called and started stuttering about something but said he found him" 

{V}"Well, what exactly did Remus say?"

{L}"I asked if Roman was injured and if Roman could come, he kept saying he couldn't then said, 'it's..he's' then hung up."

I heard some kind of movement from someones phone then Patton say. "Virgil where are you going?" "To the twins!" and with that there was a slam that even I could hear from my dorm. 

{J}"We should probably go after him."

{L} "I can meet you guys in front of the forest or at the path when we had to split." 

{P}" Alright I'll get Virgil."

And with that I went back to where I said I would be, where I await the others. They came and I lead the way. We continued going down the path the heard something. it sounded like crying but none of us were share who,what or where it was. "anyone else hear the thing that sounds like crying?" Virgil asked quietly. We all nodded and started walking closer until we could hear who it was. We found Remus but why was he crying- Oh dear god. 

"P-Please..Don't die on me hermano.." Remus mumbled silently.
