You receive news that a family member has passed away. Wanda can tell something seems off with you and wants to help you. You're grateful because she was always seemed like a mother figure to you.

Warnings: Angst, mentions of family member passing. (I think that is it.)

Wanda POV:

I am currently sat with the other Avengers including y/n. I preferred being around her more than the other due to her bubbly and overall happy character. As I was talking to Natasha, her phone began to ring causing everyone to look up. "Sorry guys, I need to take this." She said and walked to the other side of the room. I tried my best to keep up the conversation with Natasha but I was more concerned about y/n's facial expression. Her lip trembled slightly, as though she tried to hide it. She wasn't usually one to get upset which is why I was concerned. But I didn't read into her mind as it seemed personal.

Your POV:

I hung up the phone after hearing the news I had received. I hid my emotions as best as I could and told the others, "I need to get something from my room." Hopefully that would convince them everything is fine. I walked as fast as I could to my room and began to let out the tears that have been threatening to fall. I had only been in the room roughly ten minutes when I heard a knock at the door. Drying my eyes, I made my way over to the door to see who was there. Not surprised to find Wanda stood there.

Wanda POV:

After I knocked on y/n's door, I wasn't sure if she would answer but she did. "Hey, I just wanted to check if you were okay." What I didn't expect was her to crash into me and ball her eyes out. "Why did she have to go? When will this nightmare end?" She cried. I sighed and pulled her into her room closing the door behind me. "Do you want to tell me what happened?" It took a few moments for her to calm down when she said, "My grandmother is dead." Oh the poor kid, I thought to myself. I immediately wrapped my arms around her as she let out her emotions.

Your POV:

When I said that my grandmother was dead out loud for the first time, I realised it was in fact real and not a nightmare. After a while Wanda began to speak again. "Okay, I want you to look at me just for a second. Can you do that?" I looked up and a red light emitted from her hand. Suddenly, the pain of my grandmothers death was numbed and it didn't feel as bad as it had before. And I knew Wanda was trying to help me. "Thank you." I whispered. "Don't worry about it. Come here." She said as she moved to sit against the headboard of the bed. She motioned for me to move towards her and I cuddled into her. It wasn't long until I managed to get to sleep.

Ending this one here. Sorry if it was shorter than usual. Let me know what you thought and don't forget to vote! REQUESTS ARE OPEN!!! :)
