"W-What do you mean?" Charlotte asked in pure terror.

"I told them I wouldn't get married to some prince, and that I wouldn't tolerate them controlling my life anymore. I'm screwed Charlotte. At this point, there's no way I'll ever rule the kingdom now." I plopped down on my bed, ripping off the awful dress and putting my favorite one back on.

"They drive me insane! I.. I.." I gave an evil grin towards Charlotte.

"A-Aura..? Are you okay?" She asked.

"Me?" I giggled, still giving off that dastardly grin."I'm PERFECT."

"Aura.. You really don't look-"

"Give me some time alone." I say, looking straight into Charlotte's ocean blue eyes. I didn't know what was happening to me, but it felt good. Real good.

After she had left the room, I began to talk to myself.

"My parents have always wanted me to be the perfect child in this family. I could never make mistakes, could I? One little mistake sets them off like a ticking time bomb.." I looked outside of my window, looking down at the kingdom below.

"I've never made them happy. Charlotte is the only thing that matters to them, yet I don't hate her for doing so. For being the most loved child in this family, and I've always wondered why." I grazed the surface of my wooden dresser, my long black nails scratching softly against the surface.

"Why don't I hate her? Why don't I just run away? They'll never care, will they?" I opened up one of the drawers to my dresser, only to reveal a long, sharp dagger that was only given to me for protection.

"Hm. Maybe it's time.." I whispered to the dagger softly, pricking the tip of my finger with it.

"Time to start my own little rebellion. My own kingdom. My own empire."
