Patton's POV
Janus and Virgil were sitting on a bench where Roman told them to be for the date. I sat in the grass happily playing on an app on my phone.
Roman started walking up to us, face flushed. Is he embarrassed or is he just hot from wearing a sweater and jeans in spring? "Wow you look dashing." Virgil stood up as Roman flashed a fake smile and took Virgil's hand and started walking elsewhere. "Thank you, Virgil, you look quite beautiful too." Roman smiled. "took you long enough." Janus mumbled as Roman glared at him and Patton nudged him to back off. "We'll be going to a small café, first." He then put on his "mask" again.
During the walk, Virgil and Roman were just flirting with each other as Janus and I were talking. "You really need to lay off on Roman, hun. He's going through some tough things right now." I held his boyfriends hand. "How so?" Janus seemed curious. "I've been noticing some things..." I mumbled. "Sweetheart, please speak clearly, I love to hear your lovely voice." Janus smiles sweetly as Patton blushed. "I-Ive just been noticing things, lately." "What kind of things?" Janus asked before moving his arm around my back as they walked.
"He almost always wear long sleeves and pants. He's the only one in gym who wears sweatpants and a jacket. He's always wears his jacket when he isn't wearing a shirt. And uhm, one time... I saw him cutting himself with a razor." I softly said. Janus' eyes widened. "Did you talk to him about it?" Janus asked. "I haven't found the right time.." I frowned as Janus nodded. "Alright. I'll bring it up after the date when Everyone gets home safely." Janus said calmly.
"Okay. Thank you, baby." I smiled before kissing him softly. "It's no problem, honey. Don't worry about it." He kissed back, melting soothingly into the kiss.
Everything and everyone seemed to fade away.
