Third Person POV
The parade dispatched after the new comer had a warm welcome. Well as warm as being dead can get. The band jumped off of the large float they road through the desolate landscape.
"Welcome to the Black Parade my friend." Said Gerard, the white haired front man of the band.
"So, I'm dead?" Said the Patient in an almost sad tone. He knew his death was coming, but he still was saddened to learn that he finally died of cancer.
The short guitarist Frank jumped up in front of the patient with a smile. "Yes sir, you are Dead! But look on the bright side. You get to be part of this never ending party."
"It's not really a party." Mumbled the bassist Mikey. After he said that the lead guitarist, Ray, puts his hand on Mikey's shoulder. "Mikey, shut up." He whispers.
"Anyway," Gerard says to get everyone's attention back. "I think it would be, only appropriate to give our new friend here, the run of the place. Show him around, and tell him the rules. Because no matter where you are, rules are always in place. And must be fallowed."
With that the five leaders showed the Patient around the desolate landscape they call home. The buildings that look as though they could fall apart at any moment. But somehow stay trapped in time. The piles of junk that stand tall. But also the beauty in this places grey skies and post apocalyptic feel of the city.
The members of the parade that lived in just about every nook and cranny of skyscrapers that lean ever so slightly.
The Patient was also introduced to some of the marchers, Mother War, Fear and Regret.
He was also told the three rules.
1. If you chose to walk in the parade, do not disturb the band or cause a ruckus.
2. Do not try to do anything that could result in the endangerment of anyone in the parade.
3. Never under any circumstances, go near the Great Beyond.
The Great Beyond is the place where souls that have joined the parade go if they break the rules. The Great Beyond is a wasteland within a wasteland. A nightmare after death. The very closest thing to hell. There are no fires, no ruler either. The only thing the souls feel down there is the ultimate thirst for freedom. For they are trapped down there for the rest of eternity.
The Great Beyond is dark. It is almost impossible to see anything down there. For the sun that illuminates the gray skies does not reach that place. No pleasure or pain is felt there. Only longing for the chance to walk in the sun again.
Is this a cruel punishment? Maybe for some. But there are a few souls down there that fully deserve the punishment they were given. Most who try to escape quickly lose hope of trying to escape.
But, one in particular, has a heart, that is full of malice for the ones that put her down here. And in her eyes, what she did to be put down here was not a reason to be punished for. She only tried to help, but because of those stupid rules, and the stupid people that made them. To her, her idea was ground breaking. It would have helped the people of the parade.
But once someone discovered her plans, they snitched. And because of that, she was sent to the Great Beyond. The rules had been broken. And she paid the price. A price she thought was much to high.
So for who knows how long, she had been imprisoned. Subdued but scheming. For every day and night she had been down there, she had plotted her revenge. She would exact it someday. On the people who not only, ruined her plans, but also the people who put her down there.
For she had a new plan. That she believes is for the good of the parade. You see, she loves the parade. It was her home. And she would never endanger the people in it. Except for those who caused her downfall. Those people she hated. Hated with a passion. People she once trusted, and betrayed her.
She had it all planned out. She knew how to escape, she had found the power to do it. Then she would show the people who put her in hell, what she thought.
For not only was she livid because of what they did to her. But what they did to everyone else down there. Yes some of them did deserve what happened to them, bit most of them did hardly anything. Simply stepped over the line without knowing it. Most people don't know what they do is to much of a distraction during the parade. Some don't know what can or can't put the parade in danger. And some don't know how to control curiosity. Who wouldn't want to know what the Great Beyond looks like.
She felt that the fact that there is only one punishment for all the rules. No matter how small the offense, the same sentence was always given.
She saw that as, disgusting. That fact there are no warnings, trials, or proper punishment. She felt it unfair, and cruel.
When she breaks free, she is not only seeking revenge for herself but also for the people that don't truly belong down there.
All because of the five leaders of the parade. The band. When she first met them after her death she was scared. She was unsure of what to think of them. But she quickly grew to trust them. She saw them all as some of the kindest people she had ever met. But after they banished her, her view on them quickly changed. She saw them as evil. As scum bags. As fucking liars.
She remembers it like yesterday, the same memory. The look on their faces. Before then she always saw kind expression. That give joy to those who look their way.
But the last time she saw them, they were full of hate. Anger. And that cold stare, was the last thing she saw of people thought were her friends. From that moment on, and every time she replayed the memory in her mind, the only thing she feels is pure malice. For that is what drives her. The very thing that feeds her.
And just like almost everyone in the parade, she doesn't know the name she had while she was alive. You soon forget everything about yourself while you were alive.
She gained a new name. One that would soon be feared. As it was brought back from the forget ash.
11:34 was the name she had been given. Why you ask. That was last thing she saw before she died. That was the time on the clock, the clock that crushed her skull. The clock that ticked it's last tock, at the same time her heart did. All those years ago.
11:34 is back. And has one thing in mind.
Revenge
