Mikayla's Pov:
*1 YEAR LATER* Summer.
I sat perched on the criss-crossed Trees, waiting.
Why did we have to practice archery in the woods? It's so weird!
I slowly moved my foot standing up. Carefully moving my feet down the sloped logs and balancing, I slid down about five feet before something grabbed the back of my shirt. I let out a squeal and spun around to find my self face to face with the twins.
"Oh my gods! You guys scared the penguins out of me!" I whispered smacking Hikaru in the arm.
"Ow and we just came to tell you that Chiron wants us to head back in an hour for an important meeting." Hikaru said adjusting his bow.
"Oh! Ok then... Wait how did you guys get up here its like thirty feet off the ground?!" I asked notching an arrow.
As an answer, they spread out their wings and gave me a 'Really?' look.
I face palmed.
"Right im stupid." I laughed glancing around for anyone.
"Any ways wanna go be air assault?" Kaoru asked notching his own arrow. I felt an evil smile crawl onto my face, and I laughed manically. I spread out my wings and yelled:
"Wooooooohooooo YOU'RE GOING DOWN SUCKAAS!" A dramatic gasp came from beside me. I turned wide-eyed to see Hikaru with a hand covering his mouth, staring at his brother.
"Ohmygods! KAORU! You've created a monster! Truly horrible!" He said over-dramatically flailing his arms in the air.
Kaoru glanced at me and I noticed his happy face was now replaced by a sad teary eyed face. Here we go again.
