Sam: Sometimes I wonder what you would happen if Colby hadn’t kidnapped you. I’m not saying this to be mean, I just wonder how much hurt we wouldn’t feel, you know?

Y/N: Yeah, I have caught myself wondering that too. Sometimes I wonder if me and Colby would have crossed paths and fallen if he hadn’t kidnapped me.

Sam: You probably would have crossed paths at some point but, you probably would have still been with your ex or getting back with him.

Y/N: It’s weird to think, if he wasn’t such a selfish asshole I would have never met you, Colby, or any of you. I would have never known what true love feels like and what it feels like to have a family like you, Corey, Aaron, and even Elton.

Sam: Do you ever regret dating your ex?

Y/N: The night I was kidnapped I did and when I was told he was the reason I was kidnapped I regretted it even more.

Sam: You said “did” as in past tense?

Y/N: Yep, I did regret it at one point. Now I realize I shouldn’t regret it because at one point it was what I wanted and if I didn’t date him I would have never met you. Sam I’ve never told you this but you are a better friend than any best friend I have ever had even before I was kidnapped.

Sam smiles at you and embraces you with a much needed hug for both parties. The hug lasts for a few minuets before Sam pulls away.

Sam: Thank you Y/N. I really needed this.

Y/N: We both really needed this.

Sam: (slightly chuckling) Yeah we did.

A few seconds later Sam’s phone begins to ring and you can tell by the ring tone it’s Elton calling. Sam looks at the screen confirming it’s Elton.

Sam: What’s the news?

Anticipation kicks in as you wait to find out what’s going on at the hospital. It’s hard to tell if the news is good or bad from Sam’s facial expression, you can’t even tell if Elton has told him anything important yet. Either he has a really good poker face right now or Elton is beating around the bush with the news.

Y/N: What’s the news??

Sam holds up a finger as a signal to be quiet and wait. That’s when your anxiety kicks and you start thinking the worst, they couldn’t save Colby and he’s gone forever. You shake your head trying to get out of your thoughts.

Sam: What can we do? What should we do?

Hearing that you instantly turn your head back to Sam, your eyes piercing through him as you grow impatient. You start to ask again until you see Sam’s expression change, you still don’t know if it’s good or bad. Either way it looks like it’s really good or really bad. Sam hangs up the phone and looks at you.

Sam: We need to go now.

His voice is stern and hard. You’ve only heard him use this tone a select amount of times and it has never ended well.

Sorry it's short, the next one will be longer and more interesting, I promise
