our story {{Glimmer x Bow one-shot}}

our story

Bow reluctantly started leaving to head to the spire, only to be stopped by his best friend and pulled into an embrace. 

Glimmer dug her head into his chest to avoid making eye-contact with him as she made her confession and her face turned red. "Bow..." she started. "I love you... I LOVE you!" she repeated, to confirm that she doesn't just love him as a friend or brother.

 Bow couldn't help it, his best friend and the love of his life is confessing to him, he was overjoyed. all he wanted to do that moment was leap her into the air and kiss her.

but he managed to control himself and release from the hug. "I love you too.." he finally said as he cupped glimmer's face and kissed her forehead. 

he still kept his hands on her shoulders and smiled wide. "be careful.. okay?" he said.

Glimmer was about to cry, knowing that this may be the last time she will see him ever again. before she could let a tear fall, she quickly wiped the one tear in her left eye away and smiled back. "me?" she asked, referring to Bow's worry. "I'm always careful!" she joked. 

he then quickly ran off with Me Long leaving Glimmer, who had the biggest smile on her face and got red in the cheeks.

the battle was long. but they all did it. the best friend squad and the rebellion finally stood up to Horde prime and saved Etheria. everyone was happy and free. Glimmer especially.

she got her dad back, her friends, and Bow... well she doesn't know about him now. she just confessed her feelings to his BEST FRIEND! and not only to he accept them but it turned out that he felt the same. she felt weird and giddy. 

Glimmer went to her bed room and headed to the big balcony attached to it, and looked out into the beautiful view of her home. 

but neither the beauty or her home being there in the first place to show the reign of terror of horde prime is over filled her mind. all she could think about Bow. what's gonna happen to us now?? she thought to herself. I told him I LOVED him! and he loves me back! does that mean we're still friends? are we dating? ARE WE SUPPOSED TO BE BOYFRIEND/GIRLFRIEND?? WAS I SUPPOSED TO ASK IF HE COULD BE MY BOYFRIEND?! she freaked out in her head. OH NO! WHAT DO I DO?? HOW CAN I FACE HIM NOW!? I DON'T-

"Glimmer?"

a familiar voice broke the queen from her deep thoughts. she quickly turned around, thinking it was Bow, only for it to turn out to be... 

"Scorpia?" Glimmer tilted her head. she then looked back down and sighed in disappointment.

"you don't seem so happy to see me..." Scorpia pointed out, fidgeting with her pincers. "i-if you want to be alone, I can just go-"

"no wait!" Glimmer said quickly, reaching out to Scorpia who was just about to leave. the scorpion princess turned back to face Glimmer, rubbing her right forearm with her left pincer, feeling quite shy. 

Glimmer smiled. "would you like to join me?" 

Scorpia beamed at this and quickly walked to Glimmer to watch the scenery with her. 

Glimmer put both her arms on the medal bar and leaned on them, taking a deep sigh. "sorry if it seemed like I didn't want to see you... I just thought you were..." she looked down as her smile dropped. "someone else.."
