Chapter 8

It wasn't long for the elderly man to notice that the youth weren't paying attention. Their eyes lay towards the door for where the beast had left. With a sound of a clap from his firm hands, then did he get their attention, with a fake cough whilst he covered his mouth with a fist gesture before getting back into position to speak.

"It seems today was a shocking day for it to have began, for now young masters and young mistress carefully make your way out towards the glass doors onto the terrace. There will be snacks and served tea for you all." He said. They all followed on what was said as the youth's feet walk towards the terrace.

Surprisingly they didn't get a word of complaint or an order from Giovanni, his completion was about the same but he wasn't showing a smile like before, he appeared to be in a daze which led him to almost trip over his feet an amount of times. He even somehow found himself beside Katriona who paled nervously.

He looked at her before looking down and mumble beneath his breath while his hand awkwardly stroked his neck, "I'm sorry..." Others didn't seem to make out what he had said nor did Malcolm or his eldest brother beside him. Katriona on the other hand was surprised and within that moment an image of Ginko popped up within her mind, as it was probably Ginko's influence which got him to apologise.

Katriona, before stepping out onto the terrance with Giovanni beside her showed a smile as bright as the sun and spoke but few words, "It's okay, and I think Ginko has forgiven you too." Giovanni himself even made a sneaky little smile before originating to his former self who was a being only to be seen as a majestic entity.

As all the children sat down at different tables, the young masters on one and the young mistress on the other a distant away, it was there that the maids start to serve them.

Tea was poured for all, but instead of the hot tea that was drank by the boys, Katriona was given cold tea, this wasn't anything new to her as the maid right besided her detested her. Once the maid was asked to brush Katriona black hair and she brushed it ever so roughly that even if Katriona pleaded for her to stop she would get whacked around the head by the brush only to be told to stop misbehaving.

Before Katriona could take a sip of her tea, Giovanni had moved his seat towards her table and asked.

"Do you mind if I join you?"
