I looked over at Eva's lightsaber, which sat on the small table on the left right wall.

"You have many memories in that," I stated.

She was silent, and I could feel her eyes boring holes into the back of my head.

I smirked and started towards the door. She was slowly being chipped away.

"You'll like the Purge troopers. They're fun people," I grinned, before walking out and closing the door.

A small patrol of Stormtroopers marched past, keeping their heads faced forward as they continued on past me.

I clasped my hands behind my back and walked down towards the dojo where most of the Purge troopers would likely be.

As I walked down the hall, I passed multiple other troopers and interrogation rooms. Screams echoed down the passages- be it from bounty hunters, civilians- anyone who had information.

It was music to my ears.

I took a left into the dojo, happy to see a group of Purge Troopers already in the middle of training.

"KN-8413," I barked, staring one of them down.

He nodded at the other trooper and turned to face me. "Yes sir," he acknowledged, his voice deep and distorted.

"I want you to go to block C. With the Jedi. I want to know everything. I'm on my way to report to Second Sister. When I return. I better have answers. If not, you will not like the outcome. Oh, and take TN-0237 with you."

The other trooper in the room, TN-0237, saluted and began walking out the door. KN-8413 followed.

As they left, I felt an aura of fear surrounding them.

I simply scoffed and left the dojo, heading for the conference room where us Inquisitors often met.

However, before I took the familiar left towards the meeting room, I kept walking into the one in front of me.

A few days ago, a rebel shot my helmet. I ended them pretty quickly afterwards, but my helmet was badly damaged. I had to bring it in to get repaired, and now here I was trying to see if it was done.

I looked around, not seeing anyone, which was a little odd, but I didn't care. My helmet was sitting on a shelf, completely repaired and looking better than ever.

Lifting it up and setting it on my head, I felt a surge of power and dominance I wasn't feeling before.

I walked out, a grin spreading across my face that was invisible to others. I had always felt vulnerable without my mask. People could see my emotions. My feelings. My weakness. But my helmet hid that.

Second Sister was the only one in the conference room, which I was not expecting. I figured everyone would be waiting to hear of my triumph, waiting to ask about my feats.

"Brother," she said, gesturing towards the table.

I didn't sit. Instead, put my hands on the table and tried my best not to sigh.

"The Jedi is in our grasp, Sister. I sent two troopers to try and retrieve more information. She won't talk."

"And you really think the Purge troopers will be able to do what you couldn't?" She asked, a slight edge to her voice.

"She is too cocky with me. While I have limits to my powers, the troopers do not. They are relentless, and they will not let up until they receive information. So, yes, I believe this will be beneficial," I shot back, not caring how my tone sounded. She was questioning me, and I didn't like it. As much as I respected Second Sister, she didn't seem to have as much respect for me.

"I suggest you watch your attitude, brother," she scowled. "Now tell me what you already know so you can get back and oversee the process."

I rolled my eyes, glad she wouldn't be able to see it. "She was an abandoned Padawan. Her master died before the Purge, and no other Jedi took her. She escaped to Zeffo in a starfighter and that's where she's been. I used that information to try to break her down, but it wasn't very successful."

"That isn't very useful information, brother. Go back. Find out more." I could feel her glare as I turned and walked out of the room, already tired of being in her presence.

The hallways seemed more... empty than they previously were.

I watched as multiple squads ran by me, all heading in the same direction.

What the hell was going on?

"Hey, trooper!" I yelled at one, who stopped running and turned to me. "Where are you all going?"

"A prisoner escaped, sir, the Jedi. But we'll put an end to her." He nodded and kept running.

I almost lost my cool in the middle of the hallway. She escaped. How did she escape?

It took a moment of me just standing and taking deep breaths to calm down.

Once I was composed, I unclipped my saber from my belt and started in the direction the troopers had ran.

Countless white soldiers passed by me, blasters at the ready as we entered the hangar.

Eva was standing in the middle of all the chaos, saber in hand as she gracefully fought off all the troopers. Deflecting blaster bolts, parrying against the Purge troopers and their electric weapons.

Bodies dropped everywhere around her as she moved swiftly and elegantly, something I wouldn't expect from someone with as little training as her.

I jumped down into the hangar, walking up to Eva who just stared me down.

But it wasn't just her who was watching. The Second Sister was up there, eyeing my every move.

I couldn't fail.
