The Stormtroopers looked on in complete silence as I sighed.

I don't know how she escaped, but I knew for a fact we were going to have to up security.

After all, Eva wasn't a normal Jedi.

There was something different about her, and I was determined to find out what that may be.

"Don't just stand there," I snarled at the soldiers standing by. "Take her back up. I want two Purge troopers in the room and a squadron outside until I arrive."

They just looked at me.

"Go! NOW!" I shouted at them, quickly losing my patience with the expendable men and women standing in front of me.

A few of them scrambled forward towards the TIE wreckage, a few left towards the upper levels, but most of them stood at attention waiting for different orders.

I suppressed another sigh and began up towards where the Second Sister was standing.

Some stormtroopers saluted as I walked past, as though they were silently congratulating me, but I didn't feel anything special about what had happened.

My helmet was laying down in the bay somewhere, but that wasn't on my mind.

I needed to get answers.

"Brother," Trilla called as I approached. "Well done."

"Just doing my job," I muttered, tucking my saber, which I was still holding, back into my belt. "I'll report back when I find out anything."

She nodded. "Make sure you do."

I continued past her, deciding to take a quick detour before going back to Eva's room.

The halls were oddly empty, which bothered me. There were definitely troopers down in the bay still, but not enough to render the halls without soldiers.

I shook it off and walked down to the black smith, where I had picked up my helmet just a little while ago.

"Might need a new one, Mon-El."

Mon-El, our residing blacksmith, was amazing at his craft. Be it repairing damaged armour, making new armour, even fixing lightsabers, there wasn't anyone else quite like him.

"Should I ask what happened, or just get to work?" He joked, clearly not able to tell what mood I was in.

"Just work, scum," I spat. "It better be done by tomorrow."

His blue eyes widened slightly, looking up at me. "Sir, you're talking about making one from scratch, with nothing to work off of, I might need to take measurements again and-"

"It's down in the TIE bay somewhere. Retrieve it if you have to but I am not wasting time on any measurements. Get. It. Done."

He nodded quickly, turning towards the materials stacked on side shelves.

I didn't say anything else, just walked back out into the hallways. A few more stormtroopers were out here again now, easing my earlier nerves slightly.

One of them was headed in the direction I needed to go, so I pulled him aside for a moment. "Trooper, is the Jedi back in an interrogation room?"

It wasn't hard to tell he was a rookie. He shook slightly under my gaze, not saying anything as I waited for an answer.

"Trooper."

"Uh, uh yes, sir, she was brought back a moment ago. I was supposed to be part of the squad outside."
