Percy's POV:

It was the day before the dance. Thursday. We were having a meet.

"Yo, Jackson! How's that head of yours?"

"Good, thanks. Ready to kick Yancy's butt?"

"YEAH!" We all screamed.

"Well, here they come now!"

Nancy's POV:

I brushed my long hair back into a ponytail and reapplied my lipgloss. I stepped out, walking like a model, only to stop when I saw a girl with blonde hair and beautiful gray eyes. She had the perfect tan that no one could get with a spray tan. Next to her was a strikingly familiar person, but really hot. I can't remember when I saw a kid like that...

He had a muscular body with a perfect tan, shining sea-green eyes, a lopsided grin, and jet black hair. He looked like he lived on the beach. He smiled and kissed the blonde girl, who punched his arm.

"So, Annabeth, wanna spar?"

Spar? With swords?

"You bet, Seaweed Brain!"

What name is that?

They pulled out wooden swords... I think they're wooden and they began to fight. They were whirling and doing everything. I could only watch with my mouth open like a fish. The boy twisted his wrist and pretty soon, the girl's sword was on the floor and his sword was at her neck.

"Yield?"

"Yield."

"Seaweed Brain, after all this time, you're still better than all of us."

"Well, I am the god of sword-fighting--"

"Sh! Seaweed Brain! There are mortals here!"

"Shit. I'll just change the mist."

Suddenly, all I remembered was that he was joking about it.

"YANCY! GET OVER HERE!"

I walked over to the bleachers to see Parker, the swim captain, give Yancy a pep talk. The blonde kissed the boy and went to sit on the bleachers. I sat next to her. I watched the other captain. They were prancing around and joking. Man, this would be EASY.

"Hi, what's your name?" the blonde asked, turning.

"Hi, my name is Nancy. Yours?"

"N-Nancy? As in Nancy Bobofit?"

"Yes, how'd you know?"

"My name is Annabeth, and I know because you are the person who abused my boyfriend."

"Who is your boyfriend?"

"His name is Percy Jackson, the captain of the swim meet, and an Olympic Gold Medalist with 11 medals."

"Percy Jackson? Shit."

The blonde glared at me with such anger that I felt like I was going to die there, right on the spot.

"D-Does he still hate me?"

"I don't know. You'll have to ask him after the meet."

I watched as the final round began. Percy vs. Parker. Parker might win, but Percy looks way more muscular. I watched as Percy hurtled through the water, appearing on the other side in four seconds flat. Parker was still halfway through the water. Percy sat back, watching with amusement in his eyes. Parker looked behind him to see if Percy was there.

"GUYS! WE WON!" Parker yelled.

His team groaned and looked behind him. He looked confused until he saw Percy, dry on the deck, looking amused. He roared in rage and punched Percy's head. Percy looked at him and touched his head.

"Seriously? You had to punch the place where it just cracked open?"

There was red on his hand.

"Let me give you a taste of your own medicine."

Percy grabbed Parker's wrist at lightning speed and broke it, leaving him howling in pain.

"It's better than getting your head split open two times."

Annabeth bandaged up Percy's head and he nodded gratefully as she splashed water onto him. He looked better and when he unwrapped the bandages, it was fully healed. I stared in shock as he simply strode up to a crying Parker and smirked.

"Next time you try to beat me up," his friend brought out a piece of stone, "your head will feel this."

Percy punched the rock and it split in half. We all gasped.

"Good luck..." he whispered before walking away.

Parker, that IDIOT ran up and tried to punch him again. Percy sensed it coming because he turned around and punched Parker's face, leaving him out cold on the deck with an annoyed Percy.

"THAT'S THE WAY YOU DO IT, BRO!" I saw a blonde dude yell.

"Yeah, yeah, blondie."

"Percy?" I asked, unsure of what else to do.

"What?" Recognition flashed in his eyes. "Nancy Bobofit, if you're gonna beat me up, know that your pretty little face won't be... pretty anymore..."

"No, I came to apologize for my wrongdoings. I'd like to be your friend."

He looked thoughtful until a girl with brown hair laid a hand on his shoulder.

"I tried to shove your head in a toilet and I live with you, why don't you forgive her?"

"Well, Nancy has made my life a living hell until I escaped from that wretched school... You almost killed me with your electric spear during capture the flag... But I almost killed you with my sword during a duel... Hm, I guess I can forgive her, considering I've walked through hell and back."

"Wait, what?"

"Nothing!" they both answered timidly before Percy hugged me.

"You're forgiven."

I hugged him and the blonde nodded in approval before they walked away.

"Percy, we need to plan for the dance coming up! You need to start buying the groceries!"

"Yeah, yeah."

"Paul and Sally are coming to your mansion this weekend and they don't want to see you not working!"

"Annabeth, I'm always working. How else can I buy a mansion when I'm a senior?"

I shook my head and walked back into the bus. Percy was one big mystery...

Annabeth's POV:

I took a nap on the couch with Percy kissing me to sleep. I woke up to the smell of apple pie and blueberry chiffon cake. I breathed in deeply and I smelled savory foods and grilled onions. I jumped off of the couch in the parlor and ran to the kitchen. Percy was putting multiple plates and platters into some warming chamber. It was tomorrow anyway. I saw many plates being laid out on the dining table, too.

"Uh, Percy, you do realize these are for the dance, right?"

"Silly, Wise Girl. These are for you to try. I baked a different type of cheesecake they make in Beijing. Here, try some!"

I saw a little white cube that looked like a really soft sponge. I took a fork and took a bite. IT WAS HEAVEN. I gobbled the whole plate, throwing the paper away.

"Damn! That was good!"

"Great. I have 200 left inside of the thermos."

"WAIT, WHAT?!"

"I'm making 200 of each. They're little, so they're just meant for food during the party. I suggest you eat something substantial like a salad before you go, so you have room for food as well."

"Who knew you were smart... How long have I been sleeping?"

"About three hours."

"Oh... Well, I'll go to the Girl Lounge for a while, see you later!"

I skipped off to the elevator.
