once he walked out everyone shared a look on each other's faces.
kairi: hey y/n, i'm so sorry I didn't mean for things to end up this way
alejandro: yea,the last thing i ever want is for anyone to get hurt
sharan: im just hoping that nothing bad happens and I agree with ale and Kai. im sorry
y/n: u guys don't have to apologize, I actually needed this so it could help me move on.
mattia: but what about ur dad?
kairi gave him a death glare which basically told him to shut tf up.
y/n: umm for now nothing, but I hope one day I'll be able to move on.
mattia: yea I hope so, I don't like seeing my baby in pain

a few minutes after talking and changing the subject we heard glass shatter downstairs. it was so sudden too. i jumped up from where I was sitting when I realized that Cesar was the only one who left the room. i looked at everyone and we all left my room slowly to go downstairs where the sound came from.
i thought that it could've been someone trying to rob us so i grabbed the first thing I saw which was a bat.
the only thing we heard was the creaking from us slowly walking down the stairs and the faint sound of a dripping noise.

right when I got to the bottom of the stairs my heart dropped completely. it was......... it was..........

cesar. his body left there, so lifelessly. i turned on the light to see what he was doing and he was propped up on a chair. my heart started pounding at the sight I was seeing. there he laid with a knife that was on the floor which was all bloody. and on the other hand a note. but not only that. what made the sight even worse was the deep cut Cesar had on his wrist. then I realized, that faint dripping sound that I heard up the stairs was his very own blood. if he had gone 1 cm deeper he probably would've cut his whole hand off. there was a pool of blood surrounding him, blood dripping from his arm. and he sat there looking so pale, lifeless, and his eyes were wide open. i also couldn't help but notice that there was a smudge of blood coming from his nose. so I wasn't just seeing things?

i cried and fell on my knees. i sobbed with my face in my hands, i felt so much pain.
y/n: NO NO CESAR *sobbing* PLEASE DONT LEAVE ME
i started shaking him and I pulled him out of the chair and I tried giving him cpr.
y/n: please! please don't go cesar, ur too young to die, u could have a wife and children. please cesar don't let that go! please come back to me!
I kept pumping his chest hoping he would wake up. then I felt someone grab me from cesar
y/n: STOP IT LET ME GO! I NEED TO SAVE HIM, I CANT LET SOMEONE DIE BECAUSE OF ME AGAIN!
mattia: *holding y/n* calm down, he's not breathing,lost too much blood. I'm sorry y/n but he's long gone.
i looked all over myself and saw blood all over me. and my hands. I faced mattia and he put me down. he hugged while I sobbed and repeatedly lightly kept banging his chest.
y/n: he's gone, he's really gone
mattia: yea, he is
kairi, sharan, and alejandro then came to me to try to comfort me not taking their eyes off of the dead body laying on the ground.

then I slowly walked towards cesars lifeless body, i then put my hands on his eyes and closed his eyes for him while my tears that fell from my face hit his cheeks. it was almost as if I was crying the tears he didn't have the chance to cry. what was the last thing he felt? the last thing he saw? the last thing he thought?

then I noticed the blood covered note. i slowly took it from the ground and went to everyone else and read it aloud to them:
y/n: hey uh guys I found *sniffles* this note.
sharan: what does it say?
y/n: " Dear y/n, this is now my game. u will feel the pain that I felt when I saw ur mother die in my hands. u will feel the pain that I felt when I killed myself just to be with her. but that only left me here with unfinished business. so now u chose to live or die.... ur only escape? is to finish what I started"
everyone looked at me in shock. they looked so scared. i felt so bitter and guilty inside. I then yelled:
y/n: WHAT DO U WANT FROM ME?! *sobs* JUST SHOW URSELF ALREADY AND DEAL WITH ME LIKE A MAN!!
*silence*
everyone looked at me as if I crazy but little did I know I was slowly going insane.

alejandro: hey calm down we're here
mattia: hey baby *grabs my face* look at me. ur safe, I will protect u at all costs because our love is to die for
kairi: hey I'm gonna call the cops okay?
y/n: okay

kairi then grabbed his phone from his pocket and tried turning it on but all that was there was a black screen.
kairi: shit my phones dead
sharan: it's fine I'll try
she tried but all that was there was a black screen
sharan: my phones dead too
it was a whole cycle until we all realized that all of our phones were dead.
y/n: who's this possible? My phone was up to 50% like 2 minutes ago.
then out of nowhere all of the electricity in the house shut off. I didn't hear the humming from the fridge anymore, nothing. we all ran to the front door but it wouldn't open, then to the windows and then to the back door. everything wouldn't open.
y/n: dammit I completely forgot. everything is controlled by electricity and when the power goes off everything locks for safety.
sharan: well there has to be a way to get out
y/n: there's a iPad that connects to the house that can unlock it but u need a password and I don't know it.
kairi: shit so how do we get out?
y/n: wait in the note didn't it say something about to finish what he started?
mattia: yea it did
y/n: i think our only way out is to play his game and finish it.
sharan: just like every horror movie
y/n: not the time sharan
little did I know, this was only the beginning of his game and speaking the unspoken.
