Chapter 18

After ending the pizza we went back to the hotel

I got my pajamas on and i layed down in the bed

- Tomorrow we'll find some lawyer right ? - I asked Martin

- Yes, don't worry about it

- How can i don't worry about it? Right know she's arrested. Can you imagine how is she feeling right know? I bet she's scared, lost and i'm not there to tell her that everything will be alright and that sucks Martin, that really sucks

- Don't worry, she knows that we'll help her. She made the good. The only person wrong in this all thing is the girl who's dead right know. And this will sound really bad but i'm happy that she's not right now here because you'll be in danger right know and nothing get's more in my nerves that knowing that you're in risk

- Aw martin, how cute - i laughed

- i'm not kidding Jade

- i know. I love you

- i love you too. Now go to sleep and relax. She'll be fine - he kissed my forehead and i smiled

I hope everything will be alright and this problem will be solved because she doesn't deserve what's happening to her right know. She only needs psychological help, she's not a killer. She doesn't deserve to pay for what she did, because she saved our lifes, she was our "angel".

I woke up and i got up and took a shower. After a while someone knocked on the door and it was Julian.

- So, i called the taxi. He'll be downstairs in about 5 minutes. So you're ready?

- Yes. MARTIN LET'S GO

- I'M GOING I'M GOING

Martin showed up and kissed me on the cheek

- so did you told him the latest news ? - Martin asked, curious

- what? - i asked, playing the dumb part. What will be Julian's reaction? I don't know, and i don't want to make this situation even more awkward.

- So, we are dating - Martin said and hugged me

I looked straight at Julian, and i tried to read him but i couldn't. He looked without any emotion. Like if he's in other kind of reality and his mind is there, but his body is here.  Is he sad? Happy? Indifferent ?Why is this so hard ?

- congratulations - he said and hugged me, and then he hugged Martin too

Martin looked at me, curious because of my reaction

- so, let's go? - Julian asked

- yeah, let's go - Martin said

The ride was silent. It was an awkward silence. The whole ride was me looking at Julian, still trying to read him, and him looking at me.

Finally we got in the place, the ride looked like an hour, but only lasted 10 minutes. The largest 10 minutes of my life. I don't even want to know how the ride back to the hotel will be.

We got in the bulding and we got the elevator to the 6th floor. Why did the fricking lawyer had this meeting in the fucking 6th floor?! Did i made something bad in my life and karma is fucking me out? Martin and Julian looked like completly strangers and i felt bad. Awkward looks at each other was the worst. We got to the 6th floor and we got in his office. We sat on the chairs, it was only 2 , but Julian said he wouldn't mind, and he was stood up while the conversation.

- good morning - the lawyer said - as you know, i'm Jared Mathew

- Jade Williams - i said

- Nice to meet you lady, and the gentlemans?

- Martijn Garritsen, Julian Dobbenberg.

- Nice to meet you all. So let's get to the business

We explained the whole situation

- First of all, i'm really sorry for what happened to you, it must had been horrible, i think it will be a hard case, but i already took hardest cases, and thank got i resolved them, so i'll try my best to save this girl from jail

- Thank you so much, she doesn't deserve it.

-We need to reunite, maybe next week? To get some Proves for this case. Phone calls, messages. All that. Everything related to the crime can be useful for this case

- I have some phone calls and messages in my phone from the girl

- Okay, i'll now call the police to them to know that she has a lawyer and i'll solve some other cases. See you next week

We said goodbye and went back to the hotel.

The ride back to the hotel wasn't bad at all, because the idea of her being free filled our minds, and made us forgot of all the awkwardness of the dating thing.

- want to go eat something? - Martin asked

Julian's phone rang

- I'll be back, just gonna answer this call

- Okay, we'll wait downstaires - i said and he nodded

We went to the hotel hall

After a couple of minutes of silence Martin touched my arm

- what? - I asked

- what's this all ? Why are we so far away from each other since we told Julian that we date?

- Well, maybe because Julian may still have feelings for me?

- I don't fucking care. He needs to get used to it.

- Don't be a fucking asshole! He's your bestfriend

- I know, but please he knew that this was going to happen.

- i know, but i don't want to see him hurt

- i know but- hey guys - Julian arrived next to us smiling - i can't go with you, i need to go to on a date.. I found the girl

- That girl? That we were planning to find after your tour? - i asked

- Yes, i was drunk so i didn't remember that i gave her my number and she's in town, so i'm going. See you tomorrow guys! - he said and left

- Hurt hun? - Martin asked

- Fuck off Martin - I said pissed off

I felt something inside me, this weird feeling. I'm angry. AM i that easy to forget? Well i don't care. If he thinks that i care, i don't. I DON'T FUCKING CARE.

I focused on this night out with Martin, this feeling doesn't have fucking sense, and this is not ruining this night with my boyfriend.

Hey, sorry for the late update, i was super busy at school, but now i can update more often. It's going to be hard tbh, because i don't usually write on my phone chapters, and now i need bc i'm using my mum's computer but i'll try my best to update chapters and i'll try to update without mistakes (if that's possible ;_;)
