{Chapter 2}

Taylor's POV ↴

"What's up bitch? Wanna talk shit?" Jenna began heading straight for Hannah. I immediately stepped in front of her and balled my fists.

"Ohhh...Ms. Carson always saving the day. I beat your ass once, I can surely do it again." Except she couldn't. I had Hannah. Hannah knew how to fight. I'm not the best at fighting, but the anger I had built up just now was ready to burst out.

"What's u-" Jenna took at swing at my face. She hit me right in the cheek.

I covered my face and looked at her. I laughed and took a swing, knocking her to the ground.

"Yeah. What is up?" I said sarcastically. I began throwing punches left and right at her face until Rowan pulled me off.

"I'm gonna press charges bitch." Jenna got up.

"Actually...you aren't. I got the whole thing on video and last time I checked you threw the first punch." Zach said from behind me.

"Ugh. I hate you and your little group of freaks." Jenna said as her friends helped her up.

I spit at her feet and sat back down.

"Oh nah. You're cleaning that." The owner of the pizza shop said from behind the counter. My friends and I were pretty close with him.

"I gotchu." I said standing up and grabbing the mop in the corner.

I mopped it up and we paid for the food before leaving.

"Holy shit. Taylor, where did you learn to fight?" Kevin asked jokingly.

I just gave him a look and he knew to stop laughing.

We all got back in the car and headed to the beach. My cheek had split open so I had a small wound that was bleeding but I wiped it off and kept going about my day.

We got to the beach about 5 minutes later and got out of the Jeep. I was in the trunk with all of the beach stuff so I carried most of it out of the car.

We walked down to the sand and started laying stuff out. Afterwards, I took off my coverup and ran to the water. It was cold at first, but I got used to it.

After a couple minutes everyone was in the water. We all laughed and wrestled each other.

Dax was slamming Kevin into the water, Rowan and I were splashing one another, and Zach and Hannah were being all lovey dovey.

I missed this so much.

Mattia's POV ↴

"Hello?" I spoke through the speaker of my phone.

"Hey bro, we were gonna go to the beach today. Wanna come?" Ale nearly screamed through the phone. Kairi laughing in the background.

"Yeah sure. Let me get ready first." I hung up and threw my phone.

I watched Taylor's insta story not too long ago and she was at the beach with all of her friends.

I wanted to see her so of course I wanted to go.

I threw on some solid black swimming trunks and a white beater.

I grabbed my phone, a football, a speaker, and my towel before walking up my basement steps and into the living room.

"Where are you going?" My mom asked.

"Just with the boys to the beach if that's alright?"

"Yeah of course." She smiled and shooed me out of the door.

I laughed and walked out.

"Yooooo." Alvaro screamed from the back of Ale's car.

I got in the front with Ale and turned the music up to drown Alvaro's yelling out.

"Ready to see your gIrLfRiEnD?" Kairi said in a stupid voice.

"Shut the fuck up." I smacked him and he laughed.

"What are you guys anyways?"

The question rang through my ears. I honestly wasn't sure.

Taylor and I did stuff, but that's about it. We never really established what we were. I knew I wanted to start over, I just didn't know how to. I choked the girl for God's sake, but she seemed to forgive me quite easily.

"I...I really don't know." I questioned my own response.

"Interesting." Ale said, still watching the road.

"Bro just tell her how you feel. I'm betting she feels the same." Roshaun spoke out from behind me.

I want to. I really do. But the truth is, I don't know how I feel. I don't know if I'm in love with her, or the thought of her. It's a terrible thing to say, but I'm unsure.

Then it hit me. An idea that would help me decide how I truly feel....

I'm gonna make another deal.
