{Chapter 6}

Taylor's POV ↴

It was all laughs and giggles until I watched as Kevin's car pulled into a parking spot by the beach.

"Kevin. What are you doing here?" I quickly walked out of the water leaving Mattia behind.

"You weren't answering your phone and nobody knew where you were." Hannah walks you behind Kevin and speaks for him.

"I'm fine." I said turning around and walking back to Mattia.

Kevin grabs my arm and begins to drag me back to the car.

"Let go of me!" I attempted to yank my arm back but he wasn't complying.

At that point I let it happen. I made a sad face and waved at Mattia.

He laughed and waved back blowing me a kiss.

I caught it and put it to my chest.

"Why would you not answer your phone?" Hannah said, turning around in the passenger seat.

"My phone died." Right when I said that my phone received a notification and buzzed in my back pocket.

"Okay. I just didn't really think about it. You guys were the last thing on my mind in that moment. I really like him and feel that he can change." Hannah had a small smile on her face. I looked in the rear view and Kevin was smiling as well.

"Well if you think he's changing we will stand by you. All day baby. But answer your damn phone from now on." She smacked my arm and I laughed rubbing it.

"I'm sorry guys." They nodded it off and took me home.

"Bye guys. I love you." They repeated what I said and drove off. I laughed at the day I had just had.

I walked into my house and smelt something...burning? I ran to the kitchen and noticed smoke. Burnt...toast? I quickly ran to the toaster and checked.

Who tf put toast in our toaster?

It wasn't me because I was in such a rush this morning and nobody else is home. So who did it?

I took the toast out and threw it outside for the animals. I then proceeded to open all windows in the house and air out the kitchen by waving a towel in the air like a mad man.

I'm just glad nothing caught fire.

I laughed at myself and went down to my room. Who tf is in my room? I heard my tv playing.

I turned everything off today. This makes no sense.
