{Chapter 3}

Taylor's POV ↴

"Rowan, stop you win." I say after I had an abundance of salt water in my eyes.

"I always win. Hehe." Rowan said, flipping his invisible long hair.

"Wait...who's that?" Irving said looking at the shore.

"Who?" Rowan nearly broke his neck looking.

"Wait, isn't that Alissa?" Hannah said and Zach looked and nodded.

"As in...Alissa Forbes?" Kevin said.

"Yes sir." Zach spoke out.

"I haven't seen her in a while." Hannah responded.

"Imma introduce myself. She's cute as fuck." Rowan mumbles the last part under his breath.

He started to walkover to her.

"YES SIR." Kevin screamed.

The red in Rowan's cheeks grew. "Stop" he turned and mouthed.

The yelling from the water caused Alissa to turn her head.

"Hi?" Alissa said to Rowan as he approached.

"Hey...so I saw you over here and thought you were really cute. Can I maybe have your snap or number or Instagram or Twitter or-" Alissa cut his nervous chatter off.

"Yes." She chuckled.

"Thanks." Rowan rubbed the back of his neck and turned to us.

Kevin began to air hump the water and Hannah smacked his neck before Dax dunked him in the water.

Rowan shook his head and turned around grabbing his phone and thanking Alissa again before walking back to us.

Zach, Dax, and Kevin all jumped on Rowan as soon as he got in the water.

I laughed at their shenanigans and looked back out at the sand when I saw someone approaching.

Mattia.

"Hey Taylor...can we talk?" He asked as and stood from the water.

"Yeah of course." I began to walk out of the sea green water and onto the shore.

He took me under a trees away from everyone else.

"So I have a question. You will probably say no but I have to ask." I nodded balling with what he was saying.

"I wanna make another deal." My eyes widened.

I grew silent. I didn't know what to say. The last deal we made broke me. More than he knows. So another deal isn't a great idea.

"I don't know Mattia. The last deal we made went terribly. Like really bad. And I don't know if I'm ready for another one." I told him the honest truth.

"I understand that. I really do, but I...love you. Or I think I do. I'm not sure." He said to me. I figured this was the point of the deal. To see if he truly loved me.

I knew making another deal would break me yet again...but stupid decisions are my forte so I went with it.

"Fine, but after this deal...no more. I can't deal with the pain Mattia. I can't." He nodded and thanked me before pulling me into a hug.

"I love you." He bent down to kiss me. I pulled away.

"No sir. We are starting from scratch. New deal...new rules. New first dates, new friendship, and new beginning. Now...when are you taking me out?" I smiled at him.

"Tomorrow at 7?" He asked with a smirk.

"Sounds great to me." I smiled and walked away back to my friends.

This is gonna be fun if things go well.
