This was a strange work for me to write. It is by far the fastest I've ever completed anything over 20k and it's certainly been one of my favorites to write. I hope you've enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!

Here were the inspirations for the settings I chose, if you are curious. I did not intend for the setting in the story to overlap exactly with any real place, but I did draw a lot of inspiration from these locations.

In the first picture, Mu'en's warehouse would be situated all the way to the right, tucked into that hill or a hill further east. Douxiu,for the majority of the story, is located north of the warehouse, however since it is a spiritual place, it can move as needed.
