Athena's PoV

Surprisingly I fell asleep that night. I heard a knock on the door and woke up in a blink. I did sleep but I wasn't a deep sleeper. I went to open the door, but before that I heard a voice, a really pleasant one, humming a tune that was a little too familiar.

I opened the door and saw Ray behind it with his bright smile. My lips instants curved upwards. "Good morning," he said and looked behind me, to see Noah who was still asleep.

"Good morning, what are you doing here?" I asked him. "Ouch, I thought we were becoming friends," he said dramatically and I rolled my eyes chuckling.

"We are," I said letting him inside. "I see he didn't wake up yet," He says looking at Noah. I went to him and shook his shoulder. "What are you doing sugar?" he mumbled half asleep. Obviously he  didn't notice Ray. I heard Ray clear his throat. Shit!

"He misses his ex" I cover for Noah calling me sugar. "Tyson, I am going to have breakfast with Ray. Wake up by the time I am back," I tell Noah and he hums a yes.

On our way to the canteen, Ray's singing catches my attention.

"My love, my love, my fearless love, I will not say goodbye," He sang.

That song hit a nerve. My mum played that song on the piano every weekend. She loved that song and I loved it too.

"Sea may rise, sky may fall, My love will never die" I joined him.

He looked at me with a wide smile. "Dang girl! You have a voice!" He said and I giggled.

We ate breakfast and on our way back to my room, Ace decided to show up. "Good morning love," he said as he came towards us. "Ace" I acknowledged him and he smirked.

"What are you doing here with this..this 'always overly happy for no particular reason whatsoever' boy?" He asked looking up and down at Ray. "We were just coming back from breakfast Mr.Carter," Ray said with a small grin, and Ace looked back at me.

"So are you ready for today?" He asked me. "Where and why are you taking me?" I asked him as we walked towards my room.

"Well, where is a secret and why, because I find you very interesting love. I wanted to get to know you," he said with a smile. I must agree, he looked great. Like a model from a magazine. Even his scar suited his whole vibe.

"Anyway, I should get going now. Be ready, I will send someone to get you to me after about 2 hours" he said looking at his watch and he left us.

"So, Ace Carter?" Ray said with a smirk. I knew what he was thinking and no. If we were in a whole different scenario then maybe, but after knowing all the things they do. We are here to do something for christ's sake. No!

I just rolled my eye and went to my room as Ray went to his. I saw that Noah had woken up and was in the bathroom. I sat on my bed, waiting for Noah to come out.

He soon came out and looked at me. "You're back," He said almost sounding surprised. "Obviously I am back, where would I go in this place?" I said annoyed. I was annoyed because of Ace. I didn't want to go with him.

"I met Ace in the hallway," I said and he looked at me instantly. "And?" he asked.

"Well, he reminded me to be ready, he will send his guys to call me" I told Noah and he nodded but his he was thinking something.

"Did he tell you where you will be going?" Noah asked and I nodded no. "Okay," he said and left the room for breakfast.

Noah was out for almost 1 and a half hours now. He came back now and looked happy I guess.
