He started shaking. I got a better look at him. He had a red coat with black pants and a white shirt. His hair was pink. I decided not to question it. He quietly said,

"No.. I don't want to...
There's so many of them..
I don't want to kill them. But now there right here. I'm going to have to."

This shocked me. That means he doesn't have a choice. I decided to voice my concerns.

"So, you didn't want to kill Finn? Are you being forced?"

"... Crap, I said that out loud didn't I."

Zak: yeah you kinda did.

"Ok I need you to calmly tell us what's happening."

"..."

Darryl: start with your name!

Zelkam: don't yell. We don't want to freak him out.

"I don't know my name... I guess.. Will would call me Dave. Heh, so did Finn."

"Dave? Why did they call you that?"

Dave: when I was going around the Castle I found William. He was pretty happy to see me, and called me Dave. I never found out why. He would talk about how I was better then him or something. About a week Later... He died. I was messing around and he died. At the time I thought it was an accident. But then the same thing happened to Tommy. Then Phil. Tommy was hanging in the Castle and I had only met him after will died. He met a similar fate. Hind sight, maybe messing with the chandelier in the ball room wasn't a good idea.

He sighed.

Dave: Phil just walked in one day, outside there was some rumour about the Castle and he came to debunk it. I was so happy and we jokingly started an Antarctic Empire on one of the old maps. I was swinging an axe around like an idiot when he ran into the room... At this point I'd cought on and I set up a bunch of booby traps to scare people off. It rarely happened but they did their job.

At this point he'd regained his composure and talked with a loud, clear voice, dispite talking about a sad past.

Dave: Finn, he was amazing. I avoided him for ages but he found me, I explained and he would comfort me. I told him to leave over and over but he said that he wouldn't leave me alone. A lot of our relationship was him cheering me up.

Darryl: what'd he do?

Dave: well one time I dared him to dress up like a girl for a day, he pulled it off really well. It was almost scary.

He laughed.

Zelkam: that sounds pretty amazing.

Dave: anyway, we're in the same room, talking, so you guys are pretty doomed. You might as well tell me your names.

We all introduced ourselves.

Darryl: I don't want to be doomed. :(

Dave: then you should've listened.

Zak: I guess we walked right into that.

Dave: yeah, yeah you did.

"You said something about William saying you're better then him?"

Dave: uh yeah, he'd say stuff like "i'm only a servant" and "you're more important." I didn't know why.

"Then, aren't you the prince??"

Dave: uh that thought crossed my mind, Finn got really excited and we ran to the throne room. There's the king's throne, the Queen's, and a prince one. They all have a crown laying on the seat. I tried all three of them. None of them fit and when I put the crown on I didn't suddenly remember anything. We're were disappointed.

"Are you sure that's how to remember??"

Dave: no, but we didn't have anything else to go off of.

"Huh, Darryl does your book say anything?"

Darryl: nope just fables and stuff.

Dave: I don't think your book would have anything about this.

Zak: well apparently it's a maaaagggic book.

Zelkam: yeah, in not surprised.

Darryl: wait it does say something, on the last page it says "good luck with him." that wasn't there before.

Zelkam: oh nice and foreboding thank you magic book.

Dave: is your book implying that I'm annoying, or a handful?

Zak: you're both.

Dave: oh wow thanks.

Just then we heard a huge roll of thunder. And we soon heard pouring rain on the window.

Darryl jumped and ran behind Zak.

Zelkam: haha oh my gosh you're such a wimp.

Darryl: shush you, zelk.

We both started laughing.

Zak shoved Darryl off of him.

Zak: ok I'm tired is there anywhere we can sleep?

Dave: oh yeah, I guess since you're here you can use Finn's room.

Zelkam: Isn't that kinda far back?

Dave: it you go the stupid way. You guys had no idea where you were going.

Dave grabs my hand and starts running down the stairs. The others follow. He's really fast, it's disorienting. I could barely keep up. In a few minutes we were back at Finn's room.

We were all breathing really hard, while Dave didn't break a sweat.

Zak: how are you that fast!!

Dave, I have nothing to do all day long, I can get from one side of the Castle to the other I'm 10 minutes.

Dave then moves the boulder completely out of the way, he looked tired after that but he was still stronger then zelk and Zak.

Zelkam insisted on having his own room again, and I didn't care enough to stop him. Soon we were all asleep.
