It was currently 7:30 at night, and Uraraka was at the school pool.

She had refused to come down to the meeting Aizawa called, as there was no point. She already knew what had happened. She lived it. It would only reignite the memories.

"DEKU NO!" Ochaco screamed desperately, crawling towards the green haired boy. Damn it. Why couldn't her leg just work? She tried to stand up, tried to move faster, but her leg was badly cut, and she fell back down. Ochaco looked back up to see her beloved being dragged deeper and deeper into the portal.

"Uraraka!" Deku shrieked, trying to untangle Kurogiri's grip on his collar, reaching out his badly scarred hand at the same time. Tears streamed down her face as she desperately reached for his hand. She was so close.

Their fingertips brushed for a moment, and for a second, Uraraka's body was filled with hope. But alas, Deku was soon pulled into the portal, his face filled with terror. That was the last thing she saw before the portal closed.

"Dang it. Dang it. Dang it! Why couldn't I save him? Why did I just sit there and watch?!" Uraraka yelled at herself as she sat on the edge of the pool, her feet being the only thing that was in the water.

She looked down at her reflection, seeing a crying angry mess looking back at her. Her hair looked like a rats nest, and her eyes were red and puffy from crying. Uraraka didn't mind. She bet Deku wasn't worrying about his appearance wherever he was. No, he was probably trying to figure out a way to escape.

"Deku..." Uraraka whispered, more tears running down her face. "I'm sorry..I couldn't save you.."

"I'm so sorry..."

Izuku's dorm room door opened slowly. Uraraka walked in, shutting it behind her. Her tired eyes drifted around the walls, scanning all the All Might posters that must have taken years to collect. She walked over to bed, the covers being tossed around. He must have not had time to make it that morning. Uraraka sat down on the edge of it, looking over to his desk.

All Might figurines lay scattered across it, along with his precious hero notebook. That's when Ochaco noticed something thrown on his chair.

It was his blue All Might sweater.

The one he had worn when he had gotten out of the hospital. The one he cherished. The first piece of All Might clothing he had gotten, he had told her.

The thought of him caused her eyes to gloss over, it taking everything in her not to break down right there. Ochaco slowly got up from his bed, shuffling towards his desk. Everything seemed to be going in slow motion.

She took the sweater in between her fingers, feeling the soft fabric. Ochaco took a shaky breath in, bringing the sweater to her lips and breathing in the scent. It smelled like him. Like vanilla.

When a small beep came from his alarm clock that rested on his bedside table, Ochaco turned, and saw it was already 8. The last rays of sunshine were long gone.

She didn't want to go back to her room. Neither did she want to stay there. Too many memories.

Ochaco slowly walked down to the common room, and to her satisfaction, there was nobody there. Empty. Silent. Like her. It seemed fitting.

She lay down on the soft couch, resting her head on the armrest. Uraraka knew she wouldn't be getting any sleep that night, but she could try.

She held his sweater close, breathing in his scent as she closed her eyes. No matter how many times she tried, the scene would just keep replaying over and over again.

Uraraka clenched the sweater closer, it being the only thing of him she could hold on to.
