"Hey everyone! Midoriya here finally decided to wake up!" Kiri called out as the three students walked into the common room.
"Hey Deku! Glad you decided on coming!" Ochaco said, making her way over to the green haired boy. Deku smiled, her presence automatically changing his annoyed mood. "Well, I didn't really have much of a choice, heh. Kirishima and Kaminari here decided to bang on my door, telling me to come."
Ochaco frowned. "O-Oh..so if they didn't force you, you wouldn't have come?" Deku's eyes widened, realizing his mistake. "O-OH, no! I would have loved to c-come Uraraka!" He blurted frantically, not wanting to hurt her feelings once again.
She chuckled, waving her hand dismissively. "I was only joking with you." Deku sighed with relief, looking down at her with a unknown expression. "You scared me for a second there."
"Alright, alright, cmon guys, I want to get there before the mid-morning rush!" Mina yelled, shaking poor Tsu by her shoulders to emphasize her point. "Gah, alright! C'mon everyone!" Uraraka called out, and soon enough, 1-A had begun their trip to the mall.
As they arrived, Deku grew increasingly nervous. The last time he had been here, he had almost gotten killed. He rubbed his neck just thinking about it. Todoroki noticed this, and placed a hand on Izuku's shoulder. "Don't worry, you'll be fine."
Deku was snapped out of his little daze, and smiled slightly. "Y-Yeah...your right. Just a little nervous I guess." Todoroki nodded. "Understandable. But just relax. Besides, seems like someone wants your attention." Deku followed Todoroki's gaze confused, till he saw Uraraka by the fountain, waving for Deku to come over.
Deku smiled to himself, loving how adorable she was. "I'll catch up with you later." Todo just nodded, watching as Midoriya walked towards the brunette, seeing how his face lit up once they began talking. He wondered if he would ever find someone that made him smile as much Uraraka did Izuku.
Todoroki turned away, following Iida and Tsu to the food court, as everyone else had split up in groups.
"Deku, look at how pretty they made the fountain!" Deku watched as the girl's eyes widened in awe, scanning the entire fountain. "Yeah! They took 2 whole months to re-model this, and it looks great!" Uraraka turned to him and grinned.
"Come, sit!" She motioned for him to sit next to her on the ledge surrounding the fountain. Deku quickly complied, leaving some space between them. "You know..this fountain reminds me of those old teenage romance movies, where the girl and boy meet each other as children, and then meet again in the future at the same place. I don't even know why." Ochaco stated, laughing.
Deku smiled. Her laugh was so peaceful. It always managed to put him in a good mood, no matter how he was feeling. How did one girl have the power to make him feel this way?
"Deku..? You alright?" Izuku exited his thoughts, his attention turning back to reality. He noticed Uraraka was blushing, a awkward expression on her face. 'Oh crap, how long was I staring?! She probably thinks I'm some weirdo that likes staring at people...'
"U-Um! Sorry about that, my m-mind just drifted off.." Uraraka turned to look down at her shoes, swinging them back and forth. "You do tend to do that a lot. Get lost in your head." He didn't know exactly how to respond to that. "O-Oh...w-well I.."
