Arabella woke up and saw she had only gotten four hours of sleep. She also saw that the side Antonio usually slept on, was cold and the blankets hadn't been touched. Does that mean he did not come to bed at all?
A bad feeling settled in her stomach but she went to shower anyway. She didn't really feel like wearing girly clothes but Arabella also knew Antonio liked it when she did, so she settled on wearing a floral dress that had puffy sleeves.
This isn't like Arabella at all, why was she putting in so effort into how she looked? Was it for him?
She decided that she should probably get something to eat, considering her stomach had been growling the whole morning.
She walked to the kitchen, grabbed a fruit bowl which one of the chefs recommended. After thanking them and eating the fruit up at record speed, she decided to try and find Sofia.
Although Arabella knew she had no clue where to go, she followed her instincts and went in the opposite direction of the kitchen.
Arabella ended up getting lost for a good hour or two before she seemed to be in a place she vaguely remembered. Antonio's office was near here somewhere.
Surprisingly, there were no guards in the hallways she's just passed. Odd but okay. Turning another corner, she looked around and still saw nothing familiar.
Frustrated, Arabella leaned against a wall and slid down until she felt her bum touch the ground. She took her time in keeping her calm and while doing that, heard a girly voice giggle, ruining the silence that had formed.
She got up and walked in the direction of the laugh. The closer she got, the louder the laugh did but soon she couldn't hear it anymore. Arabella sighed looking at her surroundings but her face then lit up as she realized this was the hallway Antonio's office was in.
She then went to his office door and found it suspicious that the door was opened ajar. Something really feels off about this whole thing.
Arabella opened the door slightly and heard a weird noise, but she felt like she heard it before. Opening the door fully, her heart sank to her stomach.
Antonio was sitting behind his desk with that blonde girl on his lap, who was currently sucking his face off. They broke their kiss and she went down to kiss his neck, that's when Antonio must have seen Arabella's tear-streaked face as he quickly sat up, pushing the girl off his lap.
"Arabella, please, it's not what it looks like," he began, walking closer to her.
Arabella scoffed. "Isn't that what they always say," she retorted, rolling her eyes.
"Who is this bitch, Toni?" the girl asked and Arabella couldn't take it anymore.
She ran out of the room, slamming the door with a bang as the tears flowed freely down her face.
