Chapter Thirty Seven

He plunged his tongue inside of her mouth before she melted into the kiss.

Arabella then realized that they were sitting in front of people and abruptly pulled away, causing him to frown.

She quickly turned around, noticing Valentino and Daniela were the only people still sitting with them, everyone, including Baby Giovanni was gone.

It seemed that Valentino and Daniela, too, were in the middle of a heated makeout session.

Antonio turned her head back to face him, and lightly ran his thumbs over her burning cheeks.

"You're so beautiful," he muttered.

She smiled, placing small kisses down his throat and when she got to the place just under his jaw line, she felt him shiver, so Arabella decided to give that area special attention.

After sometime, she finally broke him, and she heard him moan out loud.

Fuck, that was sexy.

Antonio looked at her with hooded eyes as he leaned back in his chair.

It was then that they heard a squeal and saw Valentino picked Daniela up, who whispered something in his ear causing him to smile widely.

"They're so cute," Arabella commented. Antonio scoffed and replied, "We're cuter."

After supper, Antonio told her that he had some work to do so he set her down on the couch and she began watching Tangled, which was her all time favourite movie.

Adrianna and Sofia joined her after some time and they ended up having a movie night.

Arabella couldn't wait to officially be a part of the family.

"Sofia, how come you never told me about your last love?" she asked, mindlessly playing with Adrianna's hair.

Sofia's expression turned cold and that's when Arabella saw the similarity between Sofia and her cousins.

"It's not something I like to get into. The gist of it was that it appeared I wasn't enough for him so he left me."

Arabella hugged her which Sofia relaxed into. She placed her head in Arabella's lap and they began to talk about things for the wedding.

They all ended up falling asleep on the couch, when she opened her eyes to hear scuffling.

She saw Valentino pick Sofia up, and felt Adrianna move against her. Adrianna's eyes were still closed but then Rafael blocked Arabella's view as he picked up Adrianna too.

She didn't think about it too much, yawning as fell back asleep, only to feel muscular arms wrap around her petite body.

She looked into familiar grey eyes who placed a soft kiss to her lips before walking off.

"Arabella..." She heard a manly voice hum. "Can you open your eyes for me, fiore?"

Her eyes fluttered open and she saw Antonio standing in front of her on one knee.

"I know I didn't exactly ask you to marry me, so I hope this will make up for it."

It was only then that she looked around the room, and saw it was covered in rose petals and lit candles, giving it a very romantic vibe.

He pulled out her engagement ring and asked, "Arabella, the love of my life, my angel, I love you more than words could describe. You've been nothing but a blessing to me ever since I entered your life. I know I'm not a prince, even though I did whisk you away, although probably not in the way you wanted. I'm not a prince but you are my queen and you couldn't possibly say anything other than yes to my next question which would make me happier than I ever could be."

"Will you marry me?"

"Yes," Arabella breathed out, but it fell on deaf ears as he already had her in his embrace, kissing the living daylights out of her.

That night, Antonio showed her how much he loved her, where he was so gentle and caring. They were up for hours and in those hours, she fell in love with him all over again.
