Today was the day Antonio's family was arriving, well, apparently his cousin was already here in the country so she'd be here for lunch instead of dinner.
Antonio seemed to have become much more touchy with Arabella since she kissed him a few days ago. She's once again begun avoiding him but it's been impossible.
He's allowed her to explore the house, this time with another guard, one who doesn't speak at all and ignores her existence yet watches her as if she's the only thing in the world.
Suffice to say, he annoys Arabella because of how rude he is to her when she's done nothing but be nice to him. She's tried to talk Antonio about him but Antonio just shrugs his shoulder and says he's just doing his job right.
"Antonio, let me go, I want to be there to welcome her," Arabella complained, as she tried prying his hands off her waist. He seems to always want to be touching her, but like skin-to-skin contact, it's weird.
"Kiss me," he mumbled, his mouth trailing soft kisses up her neck, to her jaw. Arabella kept her mouth shut and tried to focus on anything else in the room.
The lights! The lights have never been so fascinating than it is right now...
"Arabella," his deep, rough voice trailed out. "Kiss me," he said once again, this time more demanding.
"N-No... I don't, I don't like you like that," she muttered under her breath, trying to get out of his grip.
She knew she was lying. She didn't know whether it was lust or a stupid schoolgirl crush forming but she knew was attracted to him.
Antonio threw her on the bed. She soon felt a heavy weight on top of her before her hands were held above her head.
Deja Vu much...
"Say that again, looking into my eyes," he commanded. "Antonio, you're being childish right now," she huffed out. "Look at me and say it," he repeated.
She looked into his eyes and could practically feel the desire oozing off of him. "All you have to do is say it and I'll leave you alone, fiore." Arabella took a deep breath in.
"Fuck this," she breathed out before placing her lips on his. He seemed shocked for a second before he took over the kiss.
Arabella broke the kiss, but that didn't stop him. "This doesn't mean I like you," she told him breathily as he rained kisses down her neck.
He lifted his head from between her neck and raised an eyebrow. "You might not realize it now but you will soon. And I'm telling you this, fiore, I am looking forward to it."
She completely froze, not knowing what to say. He placed a chaste kiss on her lips before getting up and leaving the room.
He... loves me?
Shaking her head, Arabella got up and fixed her hair before going to the main entryway and standing in the foyer, waiting for Antonio's cousin to arrive.
Soon, there was a knock on the door and she impatiently waited for the guard to open the door.
"Hi, welcome to, uh, well, Antonio's hou—" She stopped dead in her tracks when she saw who Antonio's cousin really was.
"S-Sofia?"
No... she couldn't be, did she know what he would do..?
And then, the world began spinning into darkness.
