kennedy got dressed to go to sonic with kay, when she arrived she seen kay sitting on the outside table. she grabbed her purse and made her way over to the blonde.

"hey," she said.

"hey," kay smiled, "do you know what you want?"

"yea," kennedy said.

kay ordered for the two of them and proceeded to talk to kennedy.

"so how have you been?" kay asked.

"pretty good, how about you," said kennedy.

"same," kay smiled.

the girls' order was placed on the table, "that will be 10.28."

kennedy pulled out her wallet before kay handed over the money, "please it's on me."

"okay, thanks," kennedy smiled.

"kennedy?" a voice asked.

she turned around to see the one and only zach herron.

"oh hi zach," she got up to give him a hug.

"hey," he smiled, pulling her in.

"and who is this?" kay asked, raising her eyebrows.

"this is my friend, zach," she said.

"hi, i'm kay," she said, reaching her hand out for him to shake.

"zach," he said, taking her hand in his.

"well, i should get going everly and i are having a sleep over," kennedy smiled, standing up, grabbing her stuff.

"nice seeing you again kennedy," kay said.

"you too," she said.

"so," zach said.

"so," kay said, her hand gliding up his arm.

zach shifted uncomfortably, "i should get going also."
